Dalessandro's - Philadelphia - Photo album

Best cheese steak I've had. It's big. It's juicy. It's filling. You're gonna have to wait in line for it, but it's worth it. My favorite part is how the cheese is melted and makes every bite rich and creamy. Just a great sandwich
The Cheesesteak was delicious. We waited about 35 minutes to get our food. Thankfully, we found street parking. You cannot go inside. You order your food at the right window. Then you wait until your name is called and then go to the left window to pay and pick up your food. They text you as well.
Excellent Steak Hoagies here! **Cash only!** 💵 There was street parking available. Long lines but they have a very smooth and efficient process. One window is for a worker to take your order. The service is direct and to the point. The other is for the customer to pay and pick up your order. They
First off, I would give Dalessandro's 4.5☆ if Google allowed! We went at 11:30am and had no issue with a line and ordered/received our food quickly. The staff were friendly enough and repeated back our order, which I always appreciate. There is a small section of outdoor seating, but mainly this is
Coming from Cincinnati, these Philly Cheese steaks were GREAT! Was a 45 minute wait, but it was totally worth it. So much volume and flavor. I'll certainly be back.
One of the best cheese steak sandwich I had in a while, My order was a cheesesteak with fried onions, American cheese, and pepperoni. Please note this is a cash only place. You are able to place an order over the phone to skip the long line. I did end up going back twice. No matter the time a line w
After trying other cheesesteaks during my visits to the Philadelphia area over the years, I finally made my way to Dalessandro's. I stopped by at around 9pm on a Wednesday night and luckily there were only a few people there. I easily found street parking nearby at that time. The system they have
The cheesesteaks are pretty good but I don’t think they are worth standing in an unorganized line for 45 mins. We went on a Saturday during lunch time so I’m assuming that’s probably the busiest time. The lady who runs the line could be nicer. Although they have an ATM it’s a little inconvenient th
This is my favorite spot to get a cheesesteak! Its a small spot with street parking only- but they have a good system set up with a kiosk to keep the line flowing!! I have never had a bad experience here. There are little tables to sit at and they sell beer as well to enjoy with your steak.
The line and ordering system takes some getting used to, but if you ask the locals, they'll be happy enough to tell you how it all works. The wait was rather long, but if you're driving down from North Jersey, it's worth the wait. The cheese steak sandwich with provolone and fried onions and peppe
We ordered four steaks. The food is good, hot, and fresh. There's usually a line and you must pay with cash. You have to wait about 10+ minutes for your steak, but it's worth it. The portions are large and you can easily split one with someone else. We ordered the mushroom cheese steak, chicken che
My order was fantastic!! You can tell how fresh the sandwich is when you bite into it. Definitely needed this for how cold it was getting in Philadelphia yesterday. Thank you!!! I will be back.
Cheesesteaks we had were yummy. Just needed salt, lacked some flavor and maybe mix the onions with the steak, not just on top. 😀. Overall service was great and can’t wait to go back!
One of the best places to get a Philly chz steak! They always deliver! Good service, speedy process, and amazing eats! All without having to go downtown and play pick and choose! Make sure this is on this list of places to use!!
I've heard this is the best one in Philly but honestly it was good but not great. As many people already commented, the meat needs seasoning. I ordered one with cheese and fried onions It's also annoying that the onions were not mixed in but just dumped on top. Cheese and ketchup are on the bottom,
Came here to carbo load the day before the Philadelphia Marathon. It was a long wait but luckily our party got a table. We enjoyed the pepper steak with banana peppers hoagie and the variety of chips they offered.
Dalessandro's has been on my list of places to stop for a while now. Decided to detour to Philly on my way back from a vacation to grab a cheesesteak. It's cash only and has no dining room but has some tables outside (I shared one with a nice family). Ordered at the window and my order was ready sur
