Village Whiskey - Philadelphia - Photo album

The food was delicious and service was exceptional. We visited during restaurant week and they were running a special featuring select entrees that came with a dessert for around $20. I opted for the Cobb salad while the others in my party chose their burger. We also had a side of fries with dipping
My daughter and I had lunch here during Restaurant Week and it was delicious! The drinks were expertly made and the food was fresh and delicious. I recommend the Strawberry Letter 23 cocktail with the fried pickles.
Their guided whiskey tasting was a fan favorite activity as part of our new Speakeasy Food Tour. Our guests were "wow-ed" from the moment they entered their private event space. The ambiance, high level of service, and bar's efficiency and flavorful cocktails were talked about throughout our entire
Enjoyed the food, low-key, ambience, and especially the local whiskey flight at Village Whiskey. Came here because they are listed the best whiskey bar in Pennsylvania and they do indeed have a solid selection. The food was good for the price and the service was efficient.
Terrific wait staff! Got a window hightop without a reservation. They were out of Blue Cheese Fried Olives so I ordered Sweet Stem Cauliflower to start. My entrée was the Smoked Salmon BLT. I leveled out with White Chocolate Mousse Cake. The dessert is sugary sweet. Grateful for a place to land!
We were drawn to Village Whiskey after hearing its name as a contender in the Philly Burger Brawl. We visited on a Thursday evening and, while we made a reservation an hour or so before heading over, there was decent space to walk-in. We both got the Whiskey King burger sans the Foie gras along wit
Always a solid place for burgers and beer/wine/whiskey/cocktails. Super fast service. Burger of the month was sloppy but delicious and a steak compared to regular burger prices. Only complaint on last visit is the attached seating area was quite warm.
Edit Oct 2023: still a highly recommended spot. Went for happy hour on a Tuesday - plenty of seats at the bar. Good happy hour selection. We got pulled pork slider, shrimp po’boy slider, fried pickles, and some drinks. The fried pickles were the highlight-thick chunks of pickles, well-breaded and so
Excellent service, tasty burgers, and EXCEPTIONAL sides! Coming here for drinks and a smorgasbord of sides would be quite the move, I highly recommend (which is in no way an indictment against the meals; the fries and pickles were just that good). Slight complaint that the turkey burger was a thin f
Very flavorful food. Definitely recommend their burgers - I ordered the monthly special one with goat cheese and bacon, it was really good. My wife had steak frites and loved it. The place has a “whiskey” in its name for a reason - great selection of spirits. I had the rye one (forgot the name but i
After partaking in a DnD comedy adventure show near by, my colleagues and I were on a new quest for…… amazing food! Down pouring rain, we escaped into Village Whiskey and as you can see from the pictures, we found what we were looking for. Deviled eggs filled with perfection, wings in an enchanting
When you see a smash burger on the menu, you go double smash cheeseburger with a side of short rib cheddar fries. Drinks were a whiskey flight and a mule. The server was very personable and great 🥃🤤😋
We went for lunch on Sunday, with no reservation, we walked in with no wait. We ordered a double smash burger with the duck fat fries and the smoked salmon BLT. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We wanted to try the deviled eggs, but they were out of them. The portions were good sized and ev
Personally I love whiskey and burgers. This place was beyond just that. The experience was phenomenal and our bartender Margarito really knew how to run the bar. He was the only bartender for a busy restaurant during a Sunday brunch and made sure to pay close attention to each and every customer tha
Overall had a nice experience, they was able to find seats for my family and I even though we did not reserve a spot previously. I would say that the the atmosphere of the spot was nice and I enjoyed the dine in experience. The waiters and other employees were very nice! The fried shrimp that I or
Didn't realize it's been 6yrs since I last visited. I gave 4 stars because two important factors. 1) our server was not very attentive and it wasn't busy, so there was no excuse. 2) The portion of the turkey burger meat. I know we're in a recession but that patty was flatter than a pancake. The only
