This is such a beautiful building inside and out, the host is lovely our bartender/ server so amazing and helpful. He informed us we were lucky enough to be there on the 10 yr anniversary of their Opening. Portion sizes huge spice level for everyone all though as a spicy person I could have passed 10 and been fine. Everything was so lovely.

I tried the garlic sauce chicken (only available during lunch hours), and it was really great. The shrimp fried rice was just okay, and the chicken fried dumplings were quite tasty. Unfortunately, the cocktail I wanted wasn't available because the waiter couldn't mix drinks. On the bright side, the restaurant's interiors and decor are amazing, making it a pleasant place to dine in. I visited during lunch, and it was nearly empty, which was nice. The waiter was polite and took good care of our needs. All in all, Han Dynasty offers a decent dining experience with some hits and misses in the menu. It's a good spot for a casual meal, especially if you appreciate nice decor and a quiet atmosphere. For dinner, I would highly recommend reserving a table as it gets busy in the night.

Love this place been coming here for years. Rocco is excellent and not only made great drinks but was a fantastic server. The hot sauce style fish is the best dish on the menu, in my opinion. The Dan Dan noodles are always a must order. Cumin chicken, super good. Only negative I have is that they clearly aren't investing in renovating the place. The bathrooms were pretty dirty. There were chipped tiles in the restaurant. The tables could use a facelift. Food is great, but lost it's "higher" end feeling. I don't care about that but if you're looking for atmosphere, this isn't the spot.

Housed in a historic bank bldg with high-ceilings and fluted columns, the dining room is a bit drab with brown tables, dark flooring, and ambient lighting. There are two dining levels, sidewalk tables, and a long bar for sports viewing. I appreciated the Chinese fresco'esque artwork and ceiling art. The service is tight, and the food's arrival is quick. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxed. Han is a great place to enjoy Szechuan style cuisine w family & friends. There are varying intensity levels, so be sure to choose according to your preference. (Avoid chewing on red peppers🌶. Oh, was that uncomfortable.) All of our choices were killin'! Kung Pao Style w Shrimp, Dry Pepper Style w Chicken, Dan Dan Noodles, and String Beans w Minced Pork. My favorite was the crispy, tasty string beans coated w crusty bits of pork, and the chicken infused w dry pepper and triple fried. 😋

I’d fly back to Philly just to eat here. Family style dishes makes the experience well priced. Endless green tea and white rice helps you stretch the dishes out if you’re on a budget. The flavor is packed into every dish, the cook on everything was great, and you leave feeling lighter than you expect after Chinese food. We ate the dry paper fried tofu and adjust the spice to a 6- I think the tofu was good, however I could have done with leaving it at an 8 personally. The texture was good. We found we perfected it with a sauce so when we received our dumplings, putting that sauce on top was great. Dumplings were sooooo good. Such a deep flavor profile. Anyways go go go go eat here!

First time experience. The restaurant begins opening on weekdays at 12:00 noon. We were one of the only people in the entire restaurant initially. Lots of choices for lunch at a very reasonable cost, an importantly, they are able to adjust the spiciness/heat on a scale of 1 to 10. Most dishes. Have a spicy rating recommended by the chef and you can adjust that as you see fit. Great experience. Relaxed.

Best Chinese food around the area. Their Dan Dan noodles are the best. I come from Maryland to eat food here. Old city location is good. I highly recommend this place.

Went on a Saturday night. You have wait time if you dont reserve. But we got a table real quick. The food was amazing. Had really good food and drinks. Loved their scallion pancakes, dumplings chicken and the pot style chicken the spice levels are the highest in their menu. Also the double cooked chicken was good aswell. The drinks we enjoyed and were pretty decent.

Dinner was great and to be honest the service was even better! We got the Dan Dan noodles (was so hungry we ate them before I could grab a pic 😆), dumplings in chili oil (the oil was soooo good and not too spicy), the crispy rice with chicken (the rice is almost like a rice crispy consistency which is fun and great to sop up the sauce, and the honey walnut chicken (the walnuts are the best part!). The servers were so nice and attentive and let us stay late to watch the Phillies in the World Series. Seriously, everyone was so nice and made it a great experience overall. I highly recommend this place!

My favorite place in Old City! It's become my go-to comfort food as it's tasty and always hits the spot. You can adjust spicy levels to your liking but I personally love the spice.

Amazing Chinese food. Our waitress, Lise, was amazing. I would recommend ordering a dish or two to the center an share, we got the Kung Pao Chicken and Honey walnut shrimp. The quantity is enough for two per dish. I recommend the Dan Dan noodles and spring rolls as well.

We were staying in Old City with a group of 9 people. They were very accommodating with our food requests (spice level, vegetarian, picky kids, etc). Everyone loved their food. Portions are large so we split most dishes family style. Had the Beef Dry Hot Pot and it was so good. Also tried crispy rice with chicken and tofu, pork fried rice, Kung pao chicken and pepper chicken. All wonderful. Service was excellent. They let us know they were understaffed but it didn't show. Would recommend it. We also saw a lot of carryout which if we had more days I probably would get a carryout order.
