I sat outside with my dog and cousin. The atmosphere was very welcoming and dog friendly. They gave my dos treats and water. The server was really nice and attentive.
The food was really food. I ordered the whipped ricotta, meatballs, and a pizza. Everything was delicious! I can’t wait to come back!
Everything is great except for the💲price and 🚗Parking.
The pizza is a thin crust. The adult drinks are unique. In Riva is KID and DOG friendly. As you may find both dining outside with you. For Kids, there are boosters, high chairs, and smaller 6 inch pizza which can be customized.
The parking is difficult because there is only 1 way in and out, and tight once you are in.
The final check may be sticker shock if you don’t eat in the city much.

Had an amazing time at In Riva. First time dining there and the food was spectacular. It had a very neighborhood vibe with seriously awesome food and drinks. Totally unexpected. Can't wait to go back!
A hidden gem in East Falls. Our waitress Sabrina was very helpful, with suggestions to help us through the menu while trying to figure a gluten free options. She knew the dishes so well that she was great help.
The other staff helped keep things moving.
Great pizza and service! I came here after a long bike ride to get lunch. The pizza pies are a bit pricey but really tasty so definitely worth it! I got the sausage and peppers pizza and every bite was bursting with flavor. The crust was thin and soft so the pizza slices were a bit difficult to pick up by hand but I didn't mind this since the pizza was still good. The service was was also great - special shoutout to Sabrina for being really sweet and attentive, especially with a being so hot the day I went! Sitting outside was a nice touch too because the umbrellas provide great protection from the sun. Overall, I will definitely keep this place in mind when I'm biking on the trail.
We visited In Riva right after its reopening. We got so excited! The food and service are great as usual. It is my favorite Italian restaurant in Philly!
[November 2023 Update]
Since our last visit, there has been an increase in prices accompanying the menu changes. However, the quality remains exceptional, even with alterations in the sauce’s recipe. It would be preferable if the pasta portions were slightly larger, and the volume of the punk music could be reduced, as it was somewhat overpowering. Aside from these minor suggestions, everything else continues to be absolutely perfect.
Really enjoyed eating in this establishment. If you are looking for a calm place to sit down and enjoy the summer air while eating good food.. this is the place. The service was very good. The waiter took his time to review the menu and explain recommendations. We ate the Margarita Pizza ane had the Whipped Ricotta. Both were amazing. The prices are middle of the road. Expect to spend $20-30 per person for food and a non-alcoholic drink. I will be returning to this spot often
Delicious mushroom pizza and the servers were fantastic. Their outdoor patio is dog friendly. Great and tasty drinks as well.
The pizzas are wood oven style and pretty good. The pastas looked tasty but a pretty small portion for how much money they are. The place was pretty busy during the lunch hour.
Have been coming here since it opened and never had a bad experience. The mushroom zucchini was a longtime favorite until it was taken off the menu but I still love their other pizzas and can never go wrong with the sticky ribs and whipped ricotta. Love the 1/2 off tuesday deal!
Perfect patio for a beautiful day in summer. Went for lunch with few friends while visiting Philly and it didn't disappoint. My friend wanted to add a shrimp in his pasta dish and they changed $2.5 per, seems a bit too much. The food was pretty good, but the drinks could be a bit stronger. Overall Recommend!
Absolutely FANTASTIC food. Been there a few times now, trying different menu items, and everything as been phenomenal. I highly recommend the whipped ricotta! They also have the freshest pea soup I've ever tasted. Service has also always been wonderful. They are currently open for outdoor dining during yellow phase. Their back deck is big and allows the tables to be a good enough distance from each other to feel safe.

this place has my heart cause it was my mother's fav mushroom pizza every Tuesday before she lost her battle with cancer. We are on the patio deck. They did take away that split pea soup 😔 but all the food is Great. They have BBQ octopus........
Great staff and pizza is superb!!! I live about 5 min away and have been itching for a visit the last 2 years as its on my bucket list, but never got a chance until we came for a lunch date.
We were seated on the terrace overlooking the river and kelly dr. as our server patiently waited on our order and even suggested some enticing offerings. Not a huge fan of seafood, but tried the charred octopus on a whim and it was spectacular! Wanted to try the pasta too but was too full on good pizza. Will definitely return for more
The food was so good! I was blown away by the sticky pork ribs. We did the 5 course menu with a wine pairing and it exceeded expectations. Every dish was perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The wait staff was great too! Thanks In Riva for a lovely dinner date night!
Pictures do all the justice. The way it comes out is the way it tastes. Everything we ordered was great. Outdoor dining is cute and of course super hot but even in the heat the food was BOMB! Pizza-great, drinks-great, ribs-great, pasta-great. I was so full!

Was such a beautiful Sunday decided it would be a great day for a walk with the wife to get something to eat. Been getting take out from inRiva for a few months but knew they have a great patio we could dine at.
Great idea in concept. A bit longer of a walk than we estimated. 5.3 miles later we arrived and not were we hungry. But first $6 bloody Mary’s to quench the thirst from our Sunday stroll.
Started with the ricotta and it was excellent with the crispy shallots and perfectly toasted bread. Also had the fried eggplant which was ok.
We each got a pizza. The classic pepperoni was just right with perfectly curled peps. I stole a slice from my wife and I ordered the the spicy ham which while not overly spicy was made well and very fulfilling.
Great spot with a nice view of the Schuylkill on a beautiful weekend afternoon.

Located right off the Schuylkill in East Falls, this place is a hidden gem. Away from all the noise down the city, this is a beautiful restaurant offering amazing scenery and a nearby walkway on the Schuylkill.
Now the food is amazing. Very light, healthy and flavorful. You can smell the fresh, authentic bread and pizza being made, so heavenly.
Started off with a refreshing mocktail Da Ros, which is a sweetened, sparkly strawberry drink, very nice. The broccolini caesar is amazing, please try it! We also had the whipped ricotta on gorgeous toasted bread which was also good. The whipped ricotta spread was a little bit sweet because of the caramelized onions.
Pizza is amazing and the cheese is so flavorful. But the best dish I've had here so far is the king crab spaghetti pasta - wow. A punch of flavor, freshly made spaghetti in a decadent, spicy sauce. It is soo good, craving it until I get to have it again.
There's plenty of seating indoor and outdoor, however indoor seating isn't available yet but they told us they'll be opening indoors very, very soon especially since it's getting more chilly out. This is a popular place so I would recommend reserving ahead or you'll probably wait about an hour to grab a table.
