Loved it!! Great service for our party of 12 from our server Justin in the upstairs private room. A variety of appetizers and the entrees were delicious. The butternut squash soup was sooo good I think the entire party ordered it. Justin recommended the Tequila Gimlet which was the drink for the evening! We ended the night doing karaoke downstairs and I must say it was a fun way to celebrate my birthday!! ThanksSuga!!

My boyfriend and I went to Susanna Foo’s last Saturday evening for dinner. I had heard some pretty good things about it and had to check it out. I live in New Jersey and the restaurant is located in Radnor but let me tell you…it was well worth the drive! To start off, he had a Shirley Temple and I tried the Lychee martini then we ordered the handcrafted dumpling sampler, Ahi Tuna platter and Shrimp Wonton Noodle soup. The dumpling sampler was to die for! You get to try pork, lamb, vegetable, shrimp and wild mushroom-chicken dumplings. For the entrees, I had the wok seared diver scallops, prawn and wild Scottish salmon and my boyfriend had the lobster risotto. He said he enjoyed the appetizers more than his entrée but the food was absolutely delicious and filling. The portion sizes are perfect, the wait staff is very attentive and the décor of the place has a swanky, modern and high-end appeal. To top off the evening, we had the chocolate sampler for dessert and took home a slice of the mango cheesecake which was divine. Overall, my boyfriend and I really enjoyed our evening out and if anyone while reading this is dying to go and check it out; please go! This place is simply amazing!

Food, drinks, and service were all excellent. Had the butternut squash soup and the lobster Fried rice and they were both delicious. Had an excellent drink made with the barrel aged whiskey too. Great place!

We had an exceptional experience at Susanna Foo Gourmet Kitchen. The staff was wonderful and Susanna was so generous with our 4 year old son. He scored all kinds of goodies. The food is Amazing. You need to go and experience the cuisine and and taste it for yourself. This is not your typical fast food Chinese restaurant, the meals are a work or art and masterfully crafted to bring a new experience to your taste buds. I do not like coconut, but I tried the coconut rice and was blown away. The beef was so tender and juicy, that words cannot describe and do justice to just how wonderful it was.

Food was great!!! And atmosphere is very chill. Definitely saving this place to come back again! OOlong tea was very nice and popcorn pork ravioli is very tasty and delish!! Drinks were actually pretty good too. We had the kumquat old fashion and blackberry mojito was very good as well. A 5 start gem for sure. Service was very exceptional and quick.

Excellent Chinese restaurant serving the classics. I had the Kung Pao bento box for lunch $12 and though I have had Kung Pao many a time before this was delicious. The chicken was tender and the sauce full of flavor. The fried rice and salad were good too. Would definitely recommend for lunch.

Great find! I've made my away around Chinatown in Philly and though I've found great options - haven't really experienced the same level of Asian-fusion this side of Broad! SUGA is in the heart of Rittenhouse, so it'll be hard parking wise if you're driving in. I had to park south and take the walk up (which actually wasn't a big deal since it was a nice evening weather wise.) I would advise to prepare for parking if you're driving in and have made reservations. Inside it's modern, but subdued. There's a bar that meets you on the right walking in, and there's small tables to the left. When I arrived, the hostess led me up a small set of stairs and towards the back where my party had been seated. From the drink menu, I ordered their ginger lotus drink - delicious. I liked how smooth it went down without leaving a alcohol after taste. For starters, we had the options of vegetarian dumplings, a charcuterie board of nuts, beets, etc., and small goat cheese won tons. Each item was great. I really enjoyed the goat cheese won tons, and the small bites were a great way to coat the stomach. I enjoy it when the veggie friendly options are plentiful. For my entree, I chose the charred cauliflower and ordered the side of charred brussel sprouts - SO good! The cauliflower was tender and easy to cut down to bite sized pieces. The brussel sprouts were a nice accompaniment - they were well bloomed, so they took on the seasonings well. The charred veggies each had a sweet and sour sauce to them - which really paired well with the charred bits. For dessert, I ordered the coconut tapioca with mango sorbet. Really refreshing and I love the texture differences that occur when spooning together the tapioca and the sorbet. The service was really pleasant. They had a few servers always ready to help and our water glasses stayed full (and us hydrated haha.) Definitely looking forward to my next trip back!

One of Susanna Foos premiere establishments in center city Philadelphia. The Chinese food here is out of this world. Try the dumplings and the Dan Dan noodles. Another great option is the imported Chinese teas that highlight the different regions of the Orient.

The atmosphere earns the stars for this one. In a city full of heartwarming, ahhhh-inspiring Chinese and Asian cuisine, this place ranked mediocre. However, the nice service, romantic atmosphere, and long cocktail list make up for the lack of food excitement. I went for brunch on a Saturday. No crowds! I ordered the Egg Fu Young, less the crabmeat. It was an egg frittata with veggies and a sweet drizzle on top. Good, warm, and filling for $12. My friend ordered the honey chicken and was pleased with the simple flavor. Veggies and cashews completed that dish. Both flavored simply, but tasty enough. I'd like to return and try more of the restaurant's offering. For now, decent lunch choice for me but plenty of other options throughout the city.

The New Years Eve dinner menu was wonderfully paired, deliciously prepared and the presentation was beautiful. We selected different items and shared all five courses. The flavor pairings were unique, clean, fresh, and spot on. The atmosphere is warm, intimate but still very friendly. Never have we had such pleasant conversation with fellow dinners. A lovely warmth was in the air at SuGa and the city that night. Thank you to all the staff, and especially to Claire our server who was attentive, bright and beautiful!

Food was decent, cocktails were excellent. Main area is a little condensed. Cool private area upstairs if you have a really large group. Popcorn wonton is the best dish. Be aware the peach sake was like a jelly. Not bad, just unexpected.

Our waiter was delightful and had the cheeriest attitude. He was also very attentive. The food was also delicious. I recommend the edamame dumplings as a nice light starter (I snuck a bite of my friends order). I am doing the keto diet so it was actually really easy for me to eat here. My friend thought her food was a little too spicy so you may want to ask about the heat levels before your order. The green bean side were literally the best part of our meal- I would've recommended a little more cook and seasoning on the asparagus though.

I LOVED this place. We ordered all of our food family style and it was perfect. Everything tasted amazing and the waiter was very attentive. We were seated in the back of the restaurant in a circular booth, which is always my favorite when it comes to group seating.

I found my new favorite Chinese Restaurant. The staff is friendly and inviting. I highly recommend the lobster spring rolls, scallion pancakes, honey chicken and wild mushroom risotto. There are rooms to accomodate small private parties. Enjoy and say hello to one of the owners Gabe who is usually working the floor.

The food here is so good. Every ingredient feels so fresh and their twists on the American Chinese cuisine is remarkable. It seems everything on the menu tastes great. Been there on multiple occasions and never failed. Highly recommended.

I really enjoy eating at Suga. They have a varied menu and each dish seems to really be carefully chosen as unique and well prepared. They also have some different choices you don't often see such as the chickpea and Farro with creamy sesame Sauce. The interior is beautifully decorated and really feels modern and chill. They have a great happy hour too with great appetizer specials that let you sample what they can really do in the kitchen (and bring you back with friends for dinner). The staff are all very friendly and willing to please. Tenzin, who worked the bar the night I dined was fantastic and took excellent care of me. Definitely will be coming back.

.Not the "normal" American Chinese cuisine. Our family of 5 (from the Seattle area) had a variety of dishes, Crispy Shrimp, Honey Cashew Chicken, Cilantro Sesame Chicken, Salt & Pepper Leidy's pork tenderloin & Soy Ginger Glazed salmon. Everyone in our group RAVED about their food. I would post pictures but we were to busy eating. Wednesday evening and the establishment was nearly full but our server, Clair, was attentive to our needs. I suggest a reservation
