My absolute favorite sushi place in Philadelphia. Amazing food - fresh delicious sushi, lots of variety and fun side dishes. The owner is so friendly and the staff are great. They deliver and are on UberEats too! The lunch specials run until 3pm, can be delivered and are a great deal. We order from here at least once a week.
Bleu Sushi is one of the best sushi & japanese restaurants in Philadelphia. I highly recommend the clinton roll!
This place was truly awesome. Service was magnificent and the owner came out to greet us with open arms. We were very pleased with the food and left with such a great experience. I would revisit again and 5 stars for the owner and his great hospitality!
Went there for lunch with my daughter, best sushi around. She had been there two days before and recommended the lunch specials. Everything was fresh, soup , salad, entree, and green tea ice cream! Can't wait to go back!
Found this place through Groupon, and first time trying it, it was fantastic! The food is delicious, the service (Mona) is quick, efficient and great, and we will surely be back! Thank you, you're a gem!
Extremely recommended for large parties! The owner and servers are extremely helpful with the foods arrangement and recommended foods. Foods are really good and fresh! No alcohol though, so bring your own beverage.
Loved this place! Great sushi. We tried 4 different rolls and they were all good. The staff was really friendly (even gave my friend a lesson in chopstick holding haha) and the place is clean with a good vibe.
Being from the West coast we felt a little out of place. The people here made us feel at home, treated us like friends and took great care of the group.
The food was excellent, the people were great, and the atmosphere was refreshing.
When we left we were all commenting about how cool it would be to have a place this intimate in our hometowns.
Place was soooo good! The tempura shrimp and vegetables were so good. The staff the decor was also to die for. Definitely a place more people should know about! And byob!!!!
Hosted a small surprise birthday party here and it was the best time ever. Not into Japanese food but the food I chose was so good. The staff is amazing !!! They were totally cool helping me plan this suprise . This is how restaurants should be !

BLOWN AWAY!!! This restaurant and all the staff truly love what they do and the passion for the craft is clear. They go above and beyond with their personalization to ensure a magical experience for their guests. We came here on a whim but heard wonderful things and we are soooooo happy we came here today! We are originally from Florida and have had a hard time finding fresh amazing sushi, Bleu Sushi EXCEEDED our expectations. Definitely have to get the ice cream at the end!! Amazing value and portions!

This is now our second time here and we are still blown away by the entire experience!! We just came back from Florida and having sushi there, now coming to Bleu Sushi we felt like we were teleported back they’re just as good if not better! The freshness, flavor, color, everything is unbelievable & so hard to find up north. Everyone that works here is so friendly and they make you feel at home and like you’re apart of their family. Their craftsmanship is clear as every plate is beautiful and carefully thought out and has all the small details/flavors I didn’t know I was ever missing before! I simply cannot compliment this restaurant, their staff and their sushi enough! Come and check them out!

Very good fresh fish. The rolls were hearty and filling. The Toro melted in my mouth. I only got an after pic which shows how good the food was. This place doesn't serve alcohol but it BYOB which was pretty cool!
My boyfriend and I love coming here! Always kind and accommodating service! Their sushi is definitely one of the best in Philadelphia, always fresh and reasonably priced.
We came at 12.35, then had to wait 10 minutes for our food. We ordered some of the food as side dishes and they were pretty good. I am very happy to be able to visit this restaurant and for the relatively cheap price.
super nice cozy place! we got one of the three sushi specials and i believe we got miso soup (which was v delish), jefferson roll (my favorite i thinks), tuna roll, and yellowtail roll (from what i can recall, i might b wrong). they were all pretty solid! def a good lil lunch spot
Bleu Sushi is consistently dynamite on all the important aspects of a restaurant, From the service, to the food, to cleanliness, & atmosphere! AJ has helped us every time we have gone in and this delicious Sushi experience has now become a staple for our family as we have been frequently going to the Walnut Street Theater. Bleu Sushi is 2 blocks away from the theater and they are able to accommodate you quickly if that is what is needed! You even get a delicious Andes mint after your meal! What a nice touch!! We will see you again soon!
Best sushi period! Can’t believe the low ratings but people are really ridiculous in this area. Hands down the best items on the menu are the salmon with wasabi oil (sushi or sashimi) and the salmon torched garlic (sushi or sashimi). My wife and I eat here 3-4 times per month and I can hands down say this is the best sushi in the area and we eat sushi everywhere we go but keep coming back to Bleu. In fact, I’m going there in 20 mins with my brother and his wife who have never been. We also get it to go and it’s just as good. Just look at my photos!
Fantastic atmosphere, owner game out and wanted to learn our names and gave us free Sami shots. The sushi is exquisite and intriguing. The menu has a wide variety of sushi choices with very interesting combinations. The apps and soup are great. Prefect for a date night or social gathering with friends.
I could eat the locust roll and salmon sashimi 7 days a week. It’s so freaking good! I usually order through Uber eats and because they are so quick to roll out the sushi (pun intended) I never have to wait too long for my delivery. I have eaten at their location and the service is impeccable. Plus it’s BYOB so you can’t go wrong. Just a hidden gem for sure.
This place never disappoints. The staff is so friendly and the food is fantastic. We Just took my niece here for her 17th birthday(she loves sushi), and we tried fried veggie tempura and crab croquette and many sushi roles. The staff was so nice to bring out complimentary ice cream with fireworks and song fir my niece, to our surprise. I recommend this place to all the sushi lovers out there.
My friend and I ordered several items a la carte and especially enjoyed the scallop, fatty tuna, torched yellow tail scallion, and hamachi kama (grilled yellow tail tender neck meat). It's BYOB which we didn't realize, so the helpful server let us know we could get wine 3 blocks away, which we did. Friendly service, fresh fish, and chill atmosphere.
I have been here many times and each time it surprises me. The service: amazing. The food: incredible. The prices: affordable. All around an amazing experience and will continue to come back!
The quality in fish was the best I’ve had so far in Philadelphia. I ordered yellowtail nigiri and a cucumber wrapped spicy tuna roll! They were delicious and fresh, and the service was very fast and accommodating! This is my new spot for fresh sushi! Also, I dined there on a slow Saturday if you were interested!
