Blue Corn - Philadelphia - Photo album

This is a small place that only takes cash but there is great service here and quality food. I ordered an appetizer for the table of brisket tortas, which were tender and flavorful then I got the blue tacos. They are pork, pineapple, onion, green pepper and cilantro. Maybe a little too much pepper a
Not a bad experience. We ordered chicken flautas, carnitas and cabeza tacos. I didn’t think the tacos were outstanding, they were a bit on the drier side. The carnitas and the cabeza meat itself were good. If you add guac and some salsa on them, they taste a lot better. So it’s a matter of what you
I don't think there are enough good things I can say about Blue Corn! The drinks were great and the food was simply amazing. We started with the Ofrenda de los Dioses as an appetizer since it was something we hadn't seen before on other menus and it did not disappoint! We also got three different ty
Visiting Philly and was told to try this in the Italian district. Food came extremely fast, tacos are def the move (burrito was good but could’ve involved more spices/seasoning), good fries, great atmosphere, and would go back! Either bring cash or card for their ATM if dine in
The worst part about this place is that I can't go every day. I've never had better tripa and every cocktail is perfect. Literally wishing I were there right now.
The carnitas burrito was one of the best I’ve ever had! It was very fresh and tasty. I give it a 5/5. Blue Corn used peas and carrots and the rice and they added some nice flavor.
We arrived and found that it's only cash. They really only speak Spanish here. Took over 30 minutes to get our food. Atmosphere is alright. Normal hard chairs. Food was amazing and big portion sandwich. The Cuban and ham amd cheese are pictured
Cute spot in the Italian market! Good food, friendly staff, fast service. Went for breakfast with my sister. I got French toast stuffed with cajeta (sweetened caramelized goats milk) and platanos and my sister got the green chilaquiles. We each had the Mexican coffee which was my favorite. Everyone'
Very tasty, nice presentation and inexpensive. Highest quality Mexican food I've had in a while. I will definitely come back to Philly to visit this place again
Chiles en nogada was a special dish when we visited and we both had it for the first time. After delicious guac and crisp blue tortillas our entrees arrived. Beautifully presented and fresh ingredients made this a hit with both of us. Highly recommend. I had a draft beer and my wife had a glass of P
I’ve come here for lunch a handful of times in the summer but recently booked a reservation for 16 on a Friday night for my birthday and the service was excellent. They brought out the cake and sang happy birthday and it was a great, friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone in
My girlfriend thinks this is the best food we’ve ever had in Philadephia. I think it might be the best food I’ve ever had at all. She had a fish special with fried plantains on the side, the fried plantains were delicious and the fish was prepared beautifully. I had the Tampiqueña and it was truly t
Hey head over to South Philly for some great Mexican food can’t add a label on how good the food is here.
A neighborhood gem serving authentic and delicious Mexican food. The staff is very professional and friendly. We had their catering service a few times and they never disappoint. Excellent delivery service, impressive presentation of food and of course, always delicious and quantity is more than ade
I had an excellent experience dining at Blue Corn. The service was good, fast and very professional. We tried an array of dishes, that all came at the same time. The blue corn tacos and the tacos pibil were flavorful and complex, maybe missing a bit of salt but that's the only fault I can find. Thei
9/22/22 went here for our anniversary dinner, and as always, the food and service was perfect. We shared the mini tacos special and they were delicious! One was refried beans, one was potato, one was chicken and one pork. I had the sabana, which is a thin steak with refried beans and cheese. My
This was the best authentic Mexican food that I have had the pleasure of eating, since I moved to Philly almost 2 years ago. Our server Armando explained all of the specialties thoroughly, adjusted annuity questions that we had and made sure that we had everything that we needed. The staff made su
