We came for the impossible burger because we had been wanting to try one, so we got that and also a beyond burger to compare. Enjoyed both but the Impossible burger was amazing! Very cute place with TONS of vegan/vegetarian options, good cocktails, and super friendly staff! Definitely would recommend them.
We visited for the first time after a hospital visit, so missed the crowd at lunchtime and were seated immediately and warmly welcomed by the server who explained the menu. We both had a burger craving and I had the traditional beef, while my husband order bison burger. We also shared an order of onion rings. We loved the decor, the staff, and the food. Will definitely return here often.

Really like this place...a laidback vibe with good food!
It was a first time visit for my husband and I. We loved it!! The food was delicious! I take the time and spend the money at home and buy organic because I think the quality of the food in this country is terrible. It was wonderful to find a restaurant that put so much effort into providing good quality grub!!
Excellent food and service. Decent short beer list. Will definitely be back
The Paul Bunyon burger on a collard green "bun"! The burger was cooked perfectly! And they had a great local cider to go with it! Great atmosphere too!
Excellent place to go for a variety of burgers. Everything was great and the stuff was very nice. I will be returning.
Excellent food and service. I will be back and will recommend to others.
This place is the Bomb! A must eat if you are in Philadelphia. You will come back for the milk shakes alone!!!
My son and I have been there twice now. Both times we sat immediately. The servers were super friendly and courteous. He loved the elk burger while I thoroughly enjoyed the black bean burger. The shakes were out of this world! I would definitely go back!
The impossible burger was the best, great service😀
Food was excellent, service was terrific...Overall a great experience on a busy Saturday night in Philly.
Best burger I’ve ever had. Duck burger was amazing and the elk was amazing
Ordered a standard burger here along with the onion rings and sweet fries for around $15. The burger was cooked medium well just as I had requested and I loved the onion rings and sweet potato fries. Service was excellent and attentive.
Might try out the beyond or impossible burger next time I visit.
This place is amazing! We discovered in on a trip to NY and when we saw there was one in Philly too we had to go. They are extremely accommodating of gluten free - and even have gluten free fryers! 🙌
Nacho fries, Brussels sprouts & gluten free buns oh my. We are at the bar and the bar tender was super attentive and friendly!
As a vegan, it is important for me to know how my food is cooked. I was very happy to see that when vegan food is ordered, it is automatically cooked on separate grill where meat is not cooked. The FAQ in the website mentions this. And same was confirmed by the server.
I got the Guadalupe (V) and my wife ordered the Sweet Dreams (V) along with French Fries to share. The burgers we very tasty and had a great combination of patty, toppings and bun.
The service was excellent. They were happy to take order and answer questions. We would definitely visit again.
This was a pleasant lunch. The highlight was the sweet potatoe fries. They are great with the garlic aioli and and the secret sauce for dipping, but also great on their own. The burgers are also good. The food was out quickly. There was one problem with the food we ordered. The waiter apologized and the new food came out quickly. It was very accommodating to a dinner in our party with food allergies. A neat place to eat!
My husband and I decided to go on a Wednesday night when neither of us felt like cooking. As soon as you come in, it's a little overwhelming. Very hipster vibes, which my husband and I really enjoyed, but it took a couple minutes to adjust to the music and the interior. The music choice swung between "yeah, I like this," and "wow, this sounds like what you'd hear in the background of a Creepypasta video." It wasn't too loud, and it helped to increase our privacy (we couldn't hear any other guests conversations, which is rare).
I ordered a rare Paul Bunyan Burger with a side of "uptown" waffle fries, while my husband ordered a medium well American burger with a side of "west side" onion rings. We have genuinely no complaints about the food. Cooked to perfection, made exactly to order, and came out in a timely fashion. The waitstaff was friendly, but not overly so, and we came in and out in a timely fashion.
We plan to go back on another weekday for their amazing happy hour deals (I'm particularly looking forward to the margaritas).
One hell of a good burger! Super thick and juicy. The build your own menu has more than enough choices to make anyone happen. The option to get a bison burger definitely puts this spot above others. Their choice of sauces will tie any burger together for a satisfactory experience. Bonus, their onion rings at massive and gotta be tripled fries because they a cruuuuunchy.
The best burgers I have had in a long time. Customizable, cooked to your asking, and great!good beer selection, good thing they have real meat and the other side of the menu is vegan.
Great burgers! Really delicious. We shared the cheesy fried with the spicy bits on the side and everything was good. They have a great selection of veggie options including the beyond meat and impossible burgers which I was tempted to try but opted for a medium rare beef instead.
Very tasty burgers with and without meat. Very good fries (sweet potatoes and regular potatoes) come with delicious dips.
We also had chicken bits that we liked a lot.
We will be back
This place is awesome. I'm not vegan or vegetarian but we ordered a vegan shake and I had an Impossible Burger. My date had the wham bam chicken sandwich a d we shared an order of fries and the chicken bites app. This place is very pricey, but it's in center city and boasts quality ingredients. Wish I could eat here more often but it's unlikely. Everything is a la carte... 1 shake, 1 app, 2 sandwiches, fries came to slightly under $60. Service was great and again everything was very delicious.
The burgers were just fantastic and very filling. Carafes of ice cold water were right on time and our server brought us a new one with no hesitation. Friendly great service.Only negative is that our daughter is a vegan and the menu for vegan is very limited. She had the impossible burger which she said tasted like it was microwaved with no type of seasonings, and only one type of bun to choose from. Now our daughter is not a picky eater, but she could not finish this burger it was pink a d tasteless. But a big hoorah for us meat lovers food..
By a slim margin, this is the best burger in Philly! I've tried them all. The flavor of the pattie itself was phenomenal!!!! The.fries and rings were equally amazing!!!! One word: foodgasm 😂😂😂
Ordered the vegan BLT and was pleasantly surprised. Everything is customization (vegan/vegetarian) which is awesome. They also offer a lot of different alternative meat options like tempeh, impossible burgers, beyond sausage, etc. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if your'e interested in exploring the vegetarian/vegan food-space. Lots of creative menu items that I will definitely want to try in the future! I will be sure to stop by if I find myself in the area.
Let's get straight to it. The burgers are bangin! They got to me warm, which was unfortunate as long as I waited, but I had no complaints. The burgers were served medium well, juicy, flavorful. My only big disappointment was the fact Google had an old menu and I had my hopes up for a brisket sandwich which hasn't been on the menu for years according to the server there.
Really nice place in the heart of center city Philadelphia. I ordered a simple cheeseburger, fries and chicken tenders. Everything was really good. The burgers are made from grass fed beef (and it tasted like it. Great). The fries were crispy and flavorful. The chicken tenders were hand breaded and fresh. Nothing that I ordered was frozen nor tasted of the sorts. The woman who took my order was very professional and kind. Now it is a bit pricey, but for the quality that they produce, I feel it is surely worth it. Suck we're still in COVID precautions so of course no indoor dining. When we get back to normal, I would love to return and dine in and try their awesome beer list as well. 5 star experience for sure.
My new favorite place for a well made, good, thick veggie burger 🤤. I did order four different sauces, but I may have gotten two of the same ones which was not expected, but not a deal breaker at all. The fries here were also good. EVERYTHING tastes so FRESH! Do not go to burger fi and waste your money. Come here and make it worth your while.
It was my first time trying a vegan burger and I loved it!! Also the sweet potato fries were very good too
