Sahara Grill - Philadelphia - Photo album

An exceptional Middle Eastern dining experience with great authentic dishes. The service was outstanding. Perfectly balanced flavors and generous portions make this a must-visit for authentic and affordable dining place.
My daughter and I are came here for lunch while in Philly vacationing. From the time we entered until we left we received excellent service. The food was delicious! We ate hummus with ground lamb, grape leaves stuffed with rice, fried cauliflower and chicken, beef and lamb kabobs.
It was so good! I had the lamb kebob with veggies, hummus, baba ghanouj, and iced tea that tastes like it's brewed with mint and maybe other aromatics. It was delicious!
Sahara had really good authentic dishes. I have eaten in Iraq and Kuwait. My meal was delicious. The staff was very friendly. I enjoyed my time at Sahara. For folks who would like a more authentic Persian or Lebanese food this is the place.
We went there Christmas Eve for dinner and we were not disappointed! I ordered the Moussaka and it was so flavorful and incredible! I would highly recommend. The chicken platter was also very very good. The service was really fantastic as well!
Its a small place. The owner said the food is Halal. We got hummus, chicken shawarma wrap, and chicken taouk wrap. All were very delicious and flavorful. I would recommend chicken taouk over the shawarma wrap. Baklava was amazing too.
Excellent Middle Eastern food with excellent, pleasant service for our large group. We did call ahead to see if they had room.
Great little Lebanese spot. Had the Baba G, Beef Shwawarma and Kofta Kebab. All were great. Staff is very warm and welcoming.
Had the chicken shawarma platter which came with a salad and pita bread. It was delicious. The service was a bit slow despite our mentioning that we were rushing to make a show. One person handling the service and focusing on catching up with the individual picking up takeout. They also need better
Sahara Grill is a middle eastern restaurant, the service is very good, and so is the food. I love the location as well, definitely I'll go again.
Great place!! The food was really good, the service is fast, both the owner and the server were great! The price was very reasonable. We were groupe of 7. My friends really enjoyed it too.
I was wonderfully surprised by their delicious food. The service was prompt, quick and friendly and the place was clean! Definitely will be back.
Nice, small, friendly, and delicious. Definitely authentic homemade meals.
Pleasant customer service and dining area, excellent food and reasonable prices. Lentil soup and mixed grill were perfection. The marinated eggplant appetizer was pretty good but I prefer it with a little more tomato sauce and olive oil, a little less lemon.
The food quality tops the price, and it is clean. It does not seem all that fancy but I really enjoyed it. They are totally courteous and friendly as well.
One of the best halal mediterranean restaurant in Philly - the other being Cilantro Mediterranean Grill - check them out too! For starters, their hummus is so creamy and good - the best I've had at a restaurant and I always try a hummus dish anywhere I go. Their meats/kabobs are good -very tender a
Delicious food and friendly staff made this exactly what I want to at 9:00 at night! Perfect little place to dine and enjoy delicious Mediterranean food!
They us feel like we were at home. Masks were worn by our server the whole time. We celebrated a friend's birthday there and they were very accommodating and friendly. I wish I had more pictures of the food but we ate it so fast. It was good!
