Awesome swanky place in Philadelphia. The food was delicious. The drinks was on point. The Ruby Slipper, will definitely have you feeling some type of way. Definitely recommend.
Got the Mezze Board with different proteins (lamb, shrimp, beef kabob, sausage) and spreads (tzatziki, hummus, baba ganoush) along with the Mini Paella during happy hour (you can choose meat, seafood, or veggie). I love the meat here but didn’t love the spreads as much, still a good experience though!
Valanni. I love this place. Upscale but affordable. Food and service spot on. Their small plates are both well prepared and sharable so it's a good place for a group of friends or family. Nice bar and great Bloody Marys! Perfect for a casual Sunday meal or a fantastic night out.
The mezze platter and cocktails is a great way to start your night. Food is delicious and the staff is friendly. We will continue to keep this on our list of fun date nights.
Nice ambience, chairs could use some upholstering, and more tables that are big. Lobster mac and cheese is 10/10! Carne paella was delicious. Definitely shareable size and left overs for the next day.
Visited for restaurant week and would return. The food, service, and ambiance was great.
Went for restaurant week the menu was great as well as service! Tried the red mussels which were excellent and chicken saltimbocca was phenomenal
Had a lovely Restaurant Week experience here with a pitcher of white sangria.
Gorgeous place with great food options! We've had a couple incidents where servers have dropped multiple items on the table and on us, but other than that, it's a very nice and enjoyable place to eat and drink. It would be awesome if they had a bottomless brunch option, especially for the monthly drag show!
Very good food, and most waiters are great. Some need more training. Cocktails are tasty, though on the weaker side and, even during happy hour, are on the pricey side. The tapas were very tasty, and reasonably priced during happy hour. Beware though, the happy hour menu is only available at the bar and in the lounge area, not in the "dining room". Great management too, very responsive !
Nice house cocktail menu in a small venue with not-too-loud music and not-too-loud customers. Goldilocks would consider this "just right."
Went for brunch, which was delicious. I had the steak and eggs and my friend had the lobster eggs Benedict, which he raved about. The staff is friendly and willing to make recommendations when asked. I really love the soft surfaces that keep the noise levels at a minimum so you can enjoy your conversations without yelling.
The food here was very good. Went with a few friends from work during restaurant week in January. Was a little disappointed when we wanted to order from the bar menu in Addition to what we wanted from the main menu of the evening, and the waiter was a little snippy when he was telling us that we couldn’t order, after going back and forth with him a few minutes he came back and then said that that menu had closed at 7, it was a few minutes before 7. But I left it alone. The place is very quaint and compact. They have a few tables too many fitted in there. I pushed to sit in the booth area which “wasn’t” available according to one of the hostesses at the door, a waitress seated us on the booth side after all on the left hand side of the restaurant And the three of us were more than fine there. It was a good evening, I just never experienced having to order from the restaurant week menu only. First time for everything. 🤷🏽♀️ It’s also been years since I’ve visited a restaurant during restaurant week.
Nice stylish interior, great drinks, friendly bartenders. Enjoyed pretty eclectic music of DJ on Friday night.
Great place. I usually go for drinks and snacks at the bar. I’ve never eaten dinner here though. Food, drinks, and service all great. But knocked off a star because they did away with their weekend happy hour while other bars nearby still have one. It was the main reason we’d show up, and usually ended up staying later and ordering extra stuff.
Good food. Good service. Sad that wasn't packed for brunch because the $25 for a pitcher of pour your own champagne was great. And the music was amazing. It felt like I was having brunch in a lounge, singing along to some great tunes. If I ever go back to Philly, I would go back.
