The setting is amazing! It's very low key! They have a small menu, but the food is amazing and the bartenders are very generous with the drinks! The service is incredible so don't forget to tip your waitress!! 3rd St restaurant is major!! If you come to Philly it's a must!

We visited North Third for dinner and my friend and I could not have been more pleased with the service, ambience and food! The mushroom flatbread was superb. It’s a must have if you go there. I could have eaten it all! They have a very nice selection of drinks and the food was amazing. I ordered the roasted chicken breast with rosemary.. super tasty, and my friend the grilled steak. I would totally go back there. Again.. that flatbread was perfection!
Our first time dining there was last week. Our daughter who works nearby & goes there frequently recommended it to us. It is a very eclectic atmosphere but fun & happening. We like that there was a bar in the back room where we were seated. We don't like to get stuck in a quiet backroom so we were happy about this. Each dining area is a fun place to sit with interesting people to view. All ages too NOT just young hipsters. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the beer choices & the food menu. He had a very upbeat & friendly attitude which is a PLUS! The food was the best part however. I had the fish tacos (2) & my husband had the muscles with linguini. We also had the calamari for an appetizer. EVERYTHING was excellent. We will be going back. I recommend highly if you like great food & a fun atmosphere. There is also a pin ball machine which we played after dinner.

North Third. The food and drink options are good. The atmosphere is dark with very eccentric decor that really makes the place. The service has always been great every time I have eaten there. Its not my first choice/go to restaurant in Northern Liberties, but it is definitely up there.

Great food, cozy atmosphere. This little spot has dynamite food, and makes you wish they were open for lunch. Their mussel appetizer, along with some bread for dipping in the sauce, actually makes a meal as the portion size is large. It was unexpectedly delicious, and now one of my favorite spots for mussels! Salads are also creative and delicious. Brunch items on weekends are wonderful, and many items off the Specials menu are yummy! They change daily. In warm weather there are a few tables outdoors. While you need a flashlight to see the menu indoors at night, the place has a cozy feel to it.
Best breakfast!. I actually found this by accident. We were trying to go to Honey sit'n'eat, but the wait was so long! We drove around the corner and saw their sign for brunch. We were all starving so we stopped rather then search around for somewhere else. The atmosphere is SOOO friendly, the staff is wonderful and the breakfast was awesome!!! I recommend their biscuits...highly!

Never a bad experience. I have never been disappointed with any of my visits to this restaurant. The atmosphere is great; very neighborhoody. The servers have always been terrific; always ready to answer questions regarding menu items, specials, and are great when you ask them to pair your meal with a good microbrew. It's my favorite restaurant in Philadelphia and no other has yet to come close...

My favorite bar in Philly. N. 3rd has a fantastic beer selection and the Mojitos are great too (if pricey). The kitchen is open late and the food quality is high. The Tuesday night open film screenings are a hoot.

Great, Affordable and Relaxed. This is one of those restaurants to go whenever you can't make up your mind and you won't be disappointed. It's very laid back and great for an outside evening experience. The food is great and so is the service. It has the best "hot wings" in town.

This week I will be highlighting meals I had on a recent trip to Philadelphia. While I'm not of the mind to think of the City of Brotherly Love as the 6th borough, I do love the fact that it's super easy & quick to get to, and there's tons of amazing food
What a great little find! Stopped in before our meditation and was pleasantly surprised. The food came out fast and was delicious. We were in for happy hour and got some delicious margaritas. Hope to be back! The bartender was fast and kind

Drinks were great. Steak was very good but probably should’ve been cooked medium. Salmon was good - the curry sauce was awesome. Sat outside which was nice.

This is my favorite restaurant in Philly! If you are looking for great food and drinks, this is the place! They have been serving delicious food for many years. Always great quality and portions. I love their chicken and waffles and their martinis. I can’t wait to go back!

I have to make my way back here. Steak frites was the best i had at any bar I’ve been to. Amazingly cook steak how i wanted, sauce/gravy was delicious and savory, fries were hand cut and amazing. The capers gave it an added salty flavor. Just overall delicious meal and fulfilling.
Man, this place was lit when we went for brunch / lunch. I want to go back at nighttime to see what it’s like. If I’m thinking of a bar that screams Philly this would be it (I’m sure I haven’t been to enough places or been here long enough to say this). Oh also, my chicken and waffles was good, I loved the portion, my date also enjoyed her food!
Went back for drinks and it’s just great vibes and everyone is super friendly!
Note: they charge 20% gratuity so pay attention to your bill, I ended up tipping 40%, my fault not paying attention. I don’t think it’s fair to give low ratings for that when it’s stated on the bill and you just weren’t paying attention.
Fabulous food and neighborhood ambiance make North Third a NoLibs go to. The menu changes daily, and the delicious dishes are served in ample portions. The staff is attentive. If you’re lucky, Sam or Lizzy will attend to your table or bar requests.
Entering this place is a little like walking into wonderland- The decor is all over the map here. Overhead there are glittering eagles and a butterfly. The walls are chalked full of both beautiful and blush-inducing art lol. The drink selection has a great deal of variance and even the pickiest person can find something here. My eggs Benedict came out quickly and was excellent- The gravy fries disappeared very quickly amongst my friends as well. Our server was a peach and very attentive. Very impressed and will be back.
Best wings I’ve had in a long time! Hot burger was also pretty good with a spicy long hot. Everything came out hot and fresh. Can’t wait to try the Thai chili wings next
This is such an incredible place. The food has been exceptional every time we’ve come. I got the hot apple cider with bourbon and on a cold day, it is the best. I wish my pictures did the inside justice. The service is always 100% and they clearly care so much about their customers. One of my favorite spots in Philly
Good food, good drink, good time. We luckily had the Crispy Chicken Sandwich, Eggplant Fries, and Buffalo Wings. All were great and a unique dish. I have to add that it was a little pricey. I'm excited to explore the rest of the menu and cocktails!
Really enjoyed this neighborhood gem! Reasonably priced for the location and food quality! Obsessed with the Thai Chile steamed mussels! I really loved my tuna burger as well- very tasty and texture was on point! Our bartender/waitress was great with the recommendations and drinks. I liked how refreshing and tasty the drinks were. It didn't taste over powering but got the job done liquor wise hehe definitely will be back again!
Great choice of cocktails, outdoor seating is generally pretty quiet, and price is definitely worth it given the portion sizes. We had the eggplant fries which were delicious and couldn’t even finish them between 2 people. A quick drink & snack that won’t hurt your wallet. Seemed a bit understaffed but it didn’t phase the waitress on Saturday (7/29) around 8pm who provided excellent service for like a dozen tables. Would definitely come back.
I've been coming here for years and years and years. Found it when I lived nearby and never stopped coming. Food is reliable, service is great, prices are right. I've had dinner, brunch, drinks, and happy hour here. All are great. Now I DO miss the southern fried chicken cobb salad, and the tomato soup with the little grilled cheese but it would be messed up if you weren't changing the menu after 10 years!!!! delicious
This is a small but efficient low key spot. I came here in a Sunday afternoon around 4:30pm. They had a mid-day menu which had limited items and a dinner menu which activates at 5pm.
I ordered the Cardi P cocktail (yum). I wish it was a larger drinks I felt like I was on a diet drinking it out of a skinny glass. Lol.
The burger was perfect. I asked for a well done burger and it came with lettuce, tomato, and red onion. I also asked for a side of Mayo and ketchup. The fries were seasoned just right and everything was served hot.
One star was lost due to the limited options on the mid-day menu (only the burger and wings were of interest to me) but otherwise it would have been five stars. Service was really good and the time it took from our order until the time it took for our food to come out was great.
Love the atmosphere. Cool spot to hang out. Service was super friendly. I liked that there were a good amount of meatless options. Eggplant fries were crispy outside and creamy inside. The tuna burger and lobster pasta were just ok. Missed the mark a bit for our tastes. We’d definitely go back and just try some different dishes. Worth checking out if you’re in the neighborhood.
I really enjoyed eating and having cocktails here. Their food was very good. I had a spicy cheese burger and my boyfriend had a crabcake sandwich that we both loved. We shared peirogies for our appetizer. I loved the decor theme. I will definitely go back again.
The chicken sandwich and the eggs benedict were good. The hangover helper and wings were okay. The pancakes were really good but more on the sweet side even without syrup.
I recommend the peach juice over the pear juice.
