I love Marchiano's!! I literally grew up with it. My grandfather would buy tomato pie and the speciality breads for family parties and now I go whenever I get the chance. They are hands down my favorite place for tomato pie. Plus, the speciality breads are to die for.

Love this bakery. Breads have been a staple at all of our parties for many years despite the fact that we've never even lived in Manayunk. Well worth the ride. Will be coming back for years to come.

I drive from South Jersey to get tomatoe pies. Hands down, the best. Nobody compares. Was raised off Marchianos tomatoe pies. My uncle would bring them to us for over 25 years until he died. There is a reason this place is famous for their tomato pie. While only living here a year I can comfortably say hands down that this is the BEST tomato pie in the area. (My partner grew up in the area and also vouches so take her word if needed!)
Pictured is their half tomato pie which I split with my partner and foolishly devoured over the course of a few hours. The tomato sauce has this unique richness while the bread maintains a delightful chew complimented by the perfect side and bottom crunch. The mouthfeel, flavor, texture, and taste keep me coming back for every next piece until this masterpiece miraculously disappears!
Not pictured is their specialty spinach cheese stuffed bread which was heated at home to a perfect browned crust and gooey inside.

Awesome little shop with great breads. Very cool that they have things that you can take and bake so you can serve them "fresh" to your guests. Can be busy enough to have a line out the door, and I love a place like that. Delicious!!

A classic tradition in mnyk. Took advantage of a father day special tomato pie. It was a cheesesteak tomato pie with long hots. So good!
Unique little take out that has been in the same location for two generations. Worth the wait. Very accommodating staff. You can improvise parking. :)
Marchiano's is the best kept food secret in all of Philadelphia. They focus on old-school Italian classics, with a few modern twists, and make them EXTREMELY well. Tomato pie and specialty breads are out of this world. 5-stars are not enough for this family-owned landmark shop.

I AM GOING TO GIVE THIS PLACE 5 STARS so I do not mess up their rating but I had a few tomato pies from there and I was not impressed and I do not get it. People rave about this place. They make a good tomato pie and pepperoni bread but saying its the best, like come on. I have had better tomato pie in another par of Philly (not going to say where) and also in Trenton NJ. I have also had better pepperoni bread in Cherry Hill NJ (you prob know the spot). This guy's food is good quality and made with love but not the best I have had. People need to get out more.
I've been eating the stuffed breads since I was a kid. Best in town!! Don't forget T&F farmers market in a pinch, they carry Marchiano's there in the freezer
