So guys, I try Tofu for the first time ever. And I am in love, at least with this particular restaurant. We decided we were going to try Tofu, my husband and I, and it was delicious, I had the eggplant and garlic sauce, and my husband had the sesame tofu, and it was delicious. We made a reservation, and we were able to get seated. As soon as we walked in. Food was great service was amazing atmosphere nice. I also love the antique decoration that they have inside the restaurant. I highly recommend you guys give this restaurant a try. You will not be disappointed.

Found myself craving tofu at 7pm on a Wednesday night while in center city and looked up vegetarian spots nearby. This came up and I immediately got excited because ever since New Harmony closed I haven't found another kosher certified Chinese restaurant here in Philly that I enjoyed nearly as much, so I decided to check this out. The kosher certification is displayed on the front window, and is up to date, for anyone who wants to check it. Most of the food served is pareve, with some dairy dishes that are clearly stated in the menu. There were a lot of options that I wanted to try, but I went with pickled cucumber (always a fave) and the "Veg Heaven" entree. Every single part of my meal was delicious and I was very happy from my first bite. The tofu was flavorful, the green beans had snap, and the eggplant lived up to the "heaven" in the name!! To top it all off, my server was incredibly attentive. He kept my hot tea and my glass of water topped off with impeccable timing and he was so friendly. I felt very cared for and I could see everyone around me getting the same excellent service from him. I will definitely be back, next time with friends!

Loved my bean curd with veggies. Most places don't cook broccoli well, it tends to be closer on the raw side. But this place cooked it perfect! The tofu is soft but firm, it is not fried. Sauce is not salty or overpowering. They provide you with a glass of water and a small cup of tea (free refill). They were on top of everything. Great Customer service.

The vibe upstairs is so wonderful. Casual but elegant in all the right ways. Wonderful for a cozy dinner. Yummy food, large portions!

Everything is vegetarian. Vegan option . Parking option is near by garage or street parking. Well organized space as it is in downtown area. Prices are bit expensive but for non veg folks you can definitely try once for the variety of option . Many of most common Chinese food has been recreated in plant based. One star was reduced due to the staff attending was having an attitude on the day. Hope it’s one off those days. May be I can return some time later but must try once for folks haven’t tried. Food we liked are nuggets , garlic fish (?), very aromatic tea , fried rice , spring roll.

Su Xing is my favorite Chinese food place in Philly! Consistent and plenty of vegan choices. I really appreciate how the menu is "reverse" in that everything is vegan unless it says otherwise. Boom! My favorite dish is the veggie fried rice. I now always pair it with the cream cheese wontons because they use kite hill vegan cream cheese.

Su Xing has been serving delicious food for over 10 years. I've been a longtime customer. Lots of selections at a great value. The quality is consistent. Service is always excellent. Location is perfect. I've traveled throughout Asia for authentic experiences and food delights. I would say Su Xing House is a fusion and tends to be on the light side of flavors. However, that hasn't stop me from eating here when I'm in Philly. I am a traveling plant-based chef specializing in food science and flavorology. Check out my other reviews on Google Maps.

Food is delicious. I love how the front of the menu says “where meat will not be missed.” And it’s not! (I’m a meat eater). Favorite dish was string beans and tofu in garlic sauce. Atmosphere is also very cute and cozy!!

I’m a regular here 1-3 times a week. Y’all early shift that works during Lunch is great. The young woman on the register lately is awesome and goes above and beyond to be helpful. Your evening/night shift has to get it together. I’m always a walk in take out customer. Too many times eating utensils, napkins, condiments, fortune cookie aren’t put in bag.
