The cheesteak is definitely better than Pat's and Gino's. I like the flavor. I got the mushrooms with whiz. Steak was good and not fatty with a lot of chewy parts.

Service was good but there was a bit of a wait to be serviced. Once we ordered and paid the order was up very quickly

Avoid the tourist traps and find yourself here 24 hours a day. The most authentic Philadelphia experience as far as “walk up window service” is concerned. Cheese Steaks are among the best around. Service with a smile.

24 hours a day, this place is great. I have never had a bad experience here. Forget Pat's, forget Geno's, if you want a d@mn good cheestesteak that doesn't mess around, great burgers, or a Chicken Nuggets and Fries combo, Philip's is the place to go.

Better than Geno's even though it is the same style of cheesesteak (not chopped). Great taste, I got mine with sharp provolone, mushrooms, fried onions, hot peppers, also got cheese fried. Staff was friendly and the service was quick. Area was clean and seemed well maintained. Cheesesteak was delicious and price was comparable to other local establishments. One of our favorite cheesesteak spots. Highly recommend! If you are driving, park in the PepBoys parking lot and walk over.

I haven't explored many of the 'Cheese Steak' options in Philly, but this one deserves props. because it's a 24-7 operation, and every time, it has satisfied big-time!. All I can say is thank you Philips for consistently providing awesome eats!

Steak could have used a little more seasoning and was not enough cheese but over all it was good. French fries were also good. Very friendly service!

The service was friendly, the food was good and I'll definitely recommend it to friends.
