Dave, the owner is well known around Old City from his time at Eulogy, so I was super excited to hear he was opening his own place right down the block. Impressions after my first visit for dinner - it's a fantastic addition to the Old City scene. Great beer selection, super friendly and knowledgeable staff, and the food was truly top-notch at very reasonable prices. The chicken pot pie was one of the best I've ever had. Incredibly rich & savory filling, bursting with flavor - the dough had just the right balance of flaky-ness and buttery softness. Amazing. Can't wait to eat my way through the rest of the menu. Even after a single visit, this place immediately gets a top spot on my "regular local hangout" list.

I had the pleasure of attending the soft opening of Glory. This place is a winner. The space is beautiful and inviting with an understated elegance. Had a refreshing cocktail with a squeeze of fresh grapefruit and a Woods and Waters IPA. Staff was on point, beer list is spectacular and the food was absolutely delicious. Thanks so much Dave, Pier, Kevin and Ian...you guys killed it. Wishing you the best. See you real soon. Vinnie

Can’t fault the new place on anything the beers are well thought out and dispensed in the sized glasses you need them in. Our food has been flawless. However, who’s that cult leader at the entrance? You have to pay fealty on the way in. His picture is everywhere. It’s like drinking in Saddam era Iraq. Just kidding. Bruce is a great friend and all-round good bloke. Bravo Dave and gang!!

Great bar with a superb beer menu. Surprisingly good food offerings too. Had the octopus and it was a huge piece and charred to perfection. Highly recommended to stop in if you are in the area. Delirium Tremens on tap was a happy surprise Went back a year later. Octopus and beer still delicious. Had the crostini this time and wow was that good. Smaller size bite with intense flavor and a little bit of heat. so good

Been several times over the years and only had great food, service, and overall experience. Very clean and plenty spacious. The grilled octopus is out of this world, not mention the Mac and Cheese and burgers. Few places have this level of consistency.

Unbelievable beer selection. Many things you will not get anywhere else let alone on tap. Mac and cheese was outstanding.

Stumbled upon this place on my last night in Philly before returning to England. Wish I found it earlier! Great selection of craft beers some local some imported clearly something for everyone. Nice touch with the vinyl being played. Just caught the end of one of my favourite albums of all time when I walked in - Madness, One Step Beyond. Got a good blast of Talking Heads tho! Great bar staff who had had a really busy evening with a large unexpected coach party. My crispy chicken sandwich hit the spot too. Thanks!

Glory is the perfect neighborhood bar w just enough non locals. They have a fantastic selection of beer along with full bar service. They know their beer and will guide you to your next enjoyable sip. They have event space and can accommodate large parties. Love this place - go check it out! And support local!

Went as part of a very large group on a Sunday night, and they clearly weren't ready for us. It's not really a high volume spot, and that's almost certainly on us and not them. That said, the beer selection is fantastic, the food is delicious- pub food on steroids seems to be the vibe- and the "always spinning vinyl" aesthetic and sound is a welcome addition. If I had to hazard a guess, this would be a phenomenal quiet weeknight beer and sandwich spot, though maybe not the place I'd take thirty to fifty tired coworkers, even with notice.

My first visit to Glory was this past week. I met a friend that came to town after 10+ years of not seeing her. Courtney was the star of our visit (followed closely by their fries). She gave great recommendations on drinks and let us catch up, being incredibly attentive while allowing us to talk at every point of our visit. It wasn’t busy when we arrived and then an Eagle’s game came on. This is the place you want to watch a game for sure. Can’t wait to come back. Hope Courtney is there.

They were able to accommodate our large group and have a table set up with waters ready. Our waitress was friendly and gave great recommendations. Every item our group ordered did not disappoint. Items from their specialty menu is a must. I highly recommend.

Stopped in for cocktails after a movie. Our waitress told us that the food is all made on premises so we decided to stay for dinner. Everything was delicious. Hubby and I shared some apps and our son had fish and chips. The fish actually looked like fish. I'd like to post a picture of the beet salad because it looked beautiful and tasted great but it'snotworking. As others have stated beer list was great as well.
