My favorite sandwich place in Philly till date. They bake their own bread. Fresh meat, vegetables and cheese. If you toast the whole bread, then it will be more tasty, I observed. I always order the turkey sandwich, the Arcadia or the Jersey. They are both awesome. The bread is a bit more hard to tear, but it's taste is worth all the effort. One of my friend suggested this place and I haven't changed since then.

All around enjoyable and surprisingly inexpensive. The almond croissant was well executed and the pumpkin seed bread made great toast topped with kaasaggio robusto 10 month old and halved dates. The borscht is very flavorful for still what I referred to as gringo borscht. It was restauranty and salty without its more familiar rustic charm. Just because I do not see myself making it myself and my baba has been dead for 20 years, I see myself ordering it a second time. A quality bakery with a long history in Philadelphia

For best selection during lunch ARRIVE at approximately 11:30pm-11:45 pm If you come to early you will not see all the lunch items available. Its Really Really small and gets packed they move really fast and have a dedicated friendly staff. Don't forget to get a punch card if you come here often you'll get a free sandwich

Some of the best sandwiches in Philly! Bread is amazing, ingredients are always fresh, and make sure you pick up a loyalty card. Every 11th sandwich is free. Trust me, you'll be going back that many times!

I was in the area today searching for a bakery to satisfy my sweet tooth. Originally when I walked in, I thought I made a mistake because the bakery options were extremely limited. But since I already walked all the way here, I decided to buy a double chocolate and a chocolate chip cookie. These cookies, only $1.25 each, were huge, thick, and surprisingly soft!! So delicious and was the perfect treat!

Great real bread, muffins, bagels, challah, sandwiches and more. Good prices, considering the high quality. Friendly, helpful staff. What's not to like ? Go and enjoy.

Love this place! The most amazing turkey sandwich made with super fresh, paper-thinly sliced turkey. Get your sweet fix with a palmier

It's a great lunch spot that adds a refreshing indy touch to a foodscape that is increasingly dominated by big corporate franchises. P.s. the friggin soups are awwwesome

This spot is kind of easy to walk by, but the sandwiches are pretty good. They recently jumped up in price by 2 dollars, and my biggest motivation to visit was the cheaper prices.
