Let me put it right out there, GO TO LORENZO'S!!!! I have been meaning to come here after friends have suggested it, but never did and I clearly have been missing out. I highly recommend making reservations since this is a very small restaurant and it is cash only and BYOB, so be prepared. Also think about going on a Thursday and trying the Preset menu for $25 which included an app, salad, entree and dessert. I will say this, EVERY ITEM I TASTED WAS DELICIOUS! I personally ordered the the Mussels in white wine, Chicken Saltimbocca (added mushrooms) and the cannoli and it was all really great. You can't go wrong with the menu choices. Finally the staff is incredibly outgoing and friendly, it is all family owned and you receive a warm welcome coming in the door, the chef will come out if he isn't super busy and check on how you liked everything. I seriously can't wait to come back and try more.
From the moment you walk up to the outside of this Café you feel like you are transported to a small cobblestone street in old world Italy. The aromas are pungent right from the start, the smell of Italian gravy cooking, and the welcome you get when you walk in the door is like you used to when you were at your Great-Grandmothers on Sunday. The portions are more than enough for one person, everything is fresh from the salad to the dessert. You walk in a customer and leave as family. This hidden gem in Tacony has been a staple of the Northeast for a couple years now. It is my go to restaurant whenever I am back in town. You will never be disappointed no matter what dish you choose whether it be a regular menu item or one of the specials. Don’t hesitate to go to the best homemade Italian food restaurant in the city. NO MICROWAVES-NO FREEZERS- in this place..all brought in fresh daily, it shows in every delightful bite. Will return over and over again.

I thought the food was great. The service was awesome. They made sure everything was good and I had no problems. Between the bread the salad the appetizer and meal was perfectly spaced. I dined alone and would have given it 5 stars if I didn't think it was a bit pricey. The stuffed mushroom was 10 bucks itself. I spent close to 50 bucks with no drinks just dinner and appetizer. But it was very tasty.
Our first time...Amazing! Fresh Fresh! Meatballs appetizer was tasty. We split the Chicken Francaise...heavenly.
Friendly owners...Local joint seems like everyone knew each other. Prices are very reasonable. We will become regulars...lol
The food was absolutely delicious and the service was amazing! The atmosphere is super welcoming; everyone really cares if you're enjoying your food and your time there. I loved it and cannot recommend it enough!
Food is excellent! Family run, very personable and friendly! They take the time to get to know you and make you feel special. Nothing on the menu is less than A+ but make reservations to be sure to get a seat.
Had an Amazing Dinner at Lorenzos the other night. Mike really out did himself with the clams casino, Mediterranean salad and The Sinatra dish and to top it off, chocolate mousse cake. Wonderful atmosphere, when you eat there you feel like you are with family! Can't wait to go back and try more dishes. Mike, you and your awesome family rock! See you soon!
Excellent we had Elvis during dinner and the show went on after dinner it was awesome. The food was great and the service was excellent would recommend this to anyone who has had a long week and needs to have a good time. The owners are down to earth great people. Check it out for yourself.

Delish, quick and very attentive. The staff made sure to check on me every 15min on the dot, and always remained friendly even if I annoyed them on purpose. Needless to say, they know what they are doing and their coffee is delicious. Had to get 2 cups.

The best food and service I ever had Lorenzo made for my girl Donna and myself a chicken parm that rang my bell OUTSTANDING !!!! Christina took care of everything for us I give it 10 stars. 5 stars is not ENOUGH Can't wait to go back
