Living at the Goldtex was truly a wonderful experience, it elevated my quality of life. The location is ideal, with convenient access to shops, restaurants, and parks. The vibrant community that surrounds the complex is welcoming and diverse, making it easy to forge meaningful connections and friendships. I cannot speak highly enough of my experience as a tenant at Goldtex Apartments. The exceptional service, and the wonderful amenities have exceeded my expectations in every way. I am incredibly grateful for the time I spent there. I only moved because I got transferred for work. If you’re looking for an apartment in Philadelphia, I would highly suggest that you check out the gold text. You won’t be disappointed.

Great apartments! The amenities are great, the rooftop pool and hot tub look over the city with beautiful 360 views and the gym is also on the rooftop! The staff ranging from the property manager Lana to all of the front desk people are not only professional, very quick with communication, but extremally personable. 24/7 front desk service not only makes me feel very safe in the apartment but is great to have in general for getting packages or any questions you might have. Overall loved my time at this apartment and definitely recommend it to others looking for a loft style modern apartment in the city

Up to this point, living at the Goldtex has been great. Staff and previous property management has treated us very fairly. I will update this review based on how current property management continues to uphold this level of professionalism.

SUPERB RESIDENTIAL BUILDING. Luxury living with top notch service. Special shout-out to MGMT Kathleen and maintenance technician Hakeem (so sorry if I spelled it wrong.) Hakeem greeted me with a smile and went above and beyond to service my unit. I anticipated the noise to disturb my zoom call for work, but he gave me the utmost courtesy and respect and I couldn't be more pleased. The staff are attentive, professional and always happy to assist. Security is tight, the area is safe, the neighbors are friendly and very respectful with noise levels and keep the common spaces clean. There is nothing better than deep rejuvenating sleep, and I'm so happy I chose Goldtex. The building is SOLID and appliances top of the line and efficient. I applied for a lease sight unseen and am so grateful for an exceptional experience. THANK YOU GOLDTEX. PS: The bad reviews are drastically exaggerated, I'm so thankful I just spoke with locals and residents instead of unhappy campers.

We toured several complexes within this area and the Goldtex was by far the best. We have been living here for 4 months and have had a great experience. Management is friendly and helpful, and front desk and maintenance staff are great! The property is kept clean and has great amenities (rooftop pool, hot tub, gym). Very few maintenance issue and if anything breaks or assistance is needed help is given usually the same day or within 24 hours. Parking is pricey but compared to other lots or garages in the area still on the lower end and definitely worth it. Great area and close to so many shops, restaurants, and Philly attractions. Definitely worth touring if you’re looking to live towards center city!

Been living here for almost a month now and it's a great building! Sarah from the leasing office is great. She made my first apartment search experience a breeze. She was super patient and was always available to answer any question or concern I had. The gym has everything you need and the rooftop is great! I face the back side of the building so there is no noise from the front of the city or the highway. The area is also perfect too. Plenty of parking, food and shopping nearby. It's definitely worth taking a tour to see if it's right for you.

My boyfriend and I just moved to Philadelphia from Kansas City, MO. Because we lived so far away, we weren’t able to view the apartment in person. However, like a super hero, Sarah the leasing agent provided us with a video tour of the ENTIRE building including amenities. After falling head over heals for the place and getting approved we then we’re handling all of our needs with Kathleen, the apartment manager. She was nothing short of professional! She answered every single question we had and promptly dealt with any issues we had during our move-in process. Once we moved in and were cleaning our dishes, we found that the dishwasher was leaking and we put in a maintenance request and within the hour Hakim showed up at our door! Hakim is the man! He is funny! Knowledgeable about his work and most important of all he is GREAT at communicating. He explained why the dishwasher as leaking and what he was going to do to fix it and he did it! Anytime I put in a request from now on I hope it’s Hakim that comes to the door because he’s amazing! The only reason I am not giving a 5 star review is because the parking here is expensive! The building does have a garage and a lot, it’s just way to expensive for me, so I park on the street. If there is parking available anywhere near the building. Besides the parking I love it here. It’s within walking distance of literally everything, near a highway and within 20 minutes of the airport. OH AND THE AMENITIES ARE TO DIE FOR!

We lived at Goldtex for a year. My roommate and I particularly chose it for its environmentally friendly aspects. The south facing units have impressive views of Philly' skyline. The huge windows do justice to these views. Overall our stay was very comfortable. The unit we rented was in a very good condition, all the appliances worked properly throughout our stay. We never had any maintenance issues. The monthly utility bills were reasonable and in line with our consumption. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Will (front desk) and the cleaning man were always ready to assist. We spent about five months of the COVID-19 pandemic at Goldtex, which messed up all our plans, but we appreciate that their pandemic response was prompt and the cleaning was sufficient. There is always room for improvement, but overall they handled it pretty good. Although the units seem a bit expensive for Philly, they have very good deals with different lease periods that make the price almost reasonable. Whenever we come back to Philly for an extended period of time, we will definitely rent again at Goldtex.

Moved in to Goldtex about 6 months ago, totally love the experience so far! The front desk team makes it feel like you live at home with the personalized conversations. The maintenance guy, Hakeem is the man. Anytime we have any issue in the apartment he’s here immediately and gets it resolved. Only downsides to living here is the extremely high utility bill and the difficult to get a parking spot as they are limited. Both of these I read about before in other reviews and expected it prior to moving in.

If you like a modernized apartment with an amazing rooftop and very friendly and helpful management, this is the place to be! Goldtex was a luxurious experience that was so comfortable to live in that I regret having to move out every day. (Got a new job and had to move outside the city.) My husband and I had a 1 bedroom + 1 bathroom that has a mini loft, which our cats loved to go up to for the height. It was a gorgeous set up with white countertops, hardwood floors, cabinets that quietly closed, high ceilings and windows, electronically controlled blinds, and a pull-up set of stairs that led to the loft. The bathroom is so pretty! It’s all white countertops and cabinets. The shower has glass-like walls and door. The showerhead is like a jacuzzi style, and the water temperature adjusts easily and quickly. Utilities was very reasonable and I like that they use green energy for everything! Rarely did our utilities (electric [no gas at Goldtex] + water/sewer/trash) ever go above $200, and that was when we kept the AC or heat on every single minute for the entire month. When we didn’t keep our AC or heat on all the time, our bill was regularly <$100, sometimes even less than $50. Walls were a bit thin so I could occasionally hear the neighbor’s TV, which wasn’t always bad because they seemed to watch shows that I liked and it wasn’t very frequent that I heard them. The ceiling in between each floor must have been very well insulated because we could barely ever hear our neighbors in the floor above. We lived on the 3rd floor and faced Wood Street. We never heard the stereo store (even while walking by it outdoors). I don’t know if the nearby nightclub ever re-opened while I was living there; if so, I never heard it. Only loud noise outdoors was if someone in a nearby street was shouting or playing loud music, which was pretty rare. Also, being in Philly was a little iffy when it came to smell especially because our window was right above where garbage is collected. So occasionally when we opened the windows, it would smell pretty bad. But most other days, it smelled like freshly roasted coffee beans because of the coffeeshop on the ground floor. Parking is the one thing that’s a challenge around the area! It’s tough to get a parking spot along the street that’s untimed because they’re always taken. I got to know the timed streets very well to know where I could park after hours. Your other options that I highly recommend are to go for Goldtex’s parking (outdoor was $200/month) or Jack’s parking (a block away - also $200/month); pricey but so much better than circling the area everyday for >10-30 minutes trying to find a street spot. On the ground floor, there’s 24/7 concierge service and they’re always so nice! They help with getting delivery packages. Only other complaint is that the refrigerator and freezer are quite small, which made it tough to store a bunch of food. Thankfully, you’re right by Chinatown so it was very easy to stop by the Asian grocery store and pick up fresh food or go to one of the yummy restaurants. Because of COVID, they gave us 2 months free. And then when it came to renewing the lease, the rent barely increased, which was much appreciated and another reason why I wish we could have stayed. Inflation and rent increases across the country have now made affording housing much more challenging. Goldtex is definitely not cheap. But the quality you get is superb. I miss it everyday and strongly recommend it!

Cool place! Came here for a rooftop event they were having. The location has good highway access and decent parking given the proximity to Chinatown and Center City. On the rooftop there's a small pool and the openness of it all gives you great views of the city. The space isn't huge, but fits a decent crowd. There's technically two levels to the rooftop. You enter through the fitness center (after taking the elevator to the top) and you have a landing that wraps halfway around the building (and this is the level with the pool.) In addition, there's a small set of stairs that opens the space up for more views and seating. The apartments are a bit pricey, but it may be worth it given the location and the amenities. The building does host a few cool events, especially a killer Halloween party. The staff are also friendly, and seem to understand the needs of the residents. Worth checking out!
