Our party had the Shape of Time special that complements the Korean art exhibition. Chef Rhee served each plate himself and explained each course thoroughly. Each dish was the perfect representation of the old and the new in my opinion. The whole meal was very enjoyable. The only thing that I wish I would have known was how the museum security guards rush everyone out of the restaurant around 8:45 pm. If I had known that was going to be the case, I would have made my reservation to be before 7 pm.

Stir's Executive Chef Hoon Rhee curates a Korean-inspired 5-course tasting menu designed to complement the new exhibition The Shape of Time: Korean Art After 1989 -- and it was stellar ❤️ The service was fabulous, the vibe was fun, and the food was wildly delicious!

This is a fantastic restaurant with great staff and amazing food. The restaurant is conveniently located inside the art museum near the cafe. Although reservations are not required it is a good idea and easily done through Google. The servers are all very helpful and seem to always check in just as you're about to need them without feeling like they're hovering. And the food: Delicious!

When I found out about this restaurant in the art museum, I immediately assumed that it was going to be overpriced and mediocre. A tourist trap, right? But I went for Sunday brunch anyway. I was completely wrong and their food and service blew me away. Their biscuits are crispy but not dry, with delicious herbal flavors that make them special. The crab cakes were entirely made of crab meat—not filled with bunch of other things. The texture was wonderful as well. The pancakes were so soft and perfectly cooked as well. With big marble tables, comfortable chairs, and fantastic architecture, my Sunday brunch was a wonderful experience. The plates and cups, the plating, presentation, were all really great and fitting for the museum. While not the cheapest place, this place is a great bang for your buck. And just delicious.

Restaurant in the Philadelphia Art Museum. (You must have tickets to be in the museum. Also, they require a reservation which was easy and we made right when we got there.) We opted for the served, sit down restaurant over the museum Cafe. Totally worth it. The bread is…holy moley (eat it). The burger was honestly FANTASTIC. The Stir Chopped salad was mediocre so maybe add a protein to zhuzh up the salad. At the end, they surprise you with a pine nut almond cookie which was chewy and delectable. Can’t wait to come back just to eat here.

Very friendly staff. Dined here twice while visiting the museum. The rolls they give you are out of this world. Had the grilled chicken sandwich and fries on the first visit. The second visit I had the chopped salad with chicken. Both meals were very good and very fresh. Definitely worth checking this place out.

Very good lunch. I was impressed by the quality of my dish (Herb Roasted Salmon). The complimentary pine nut cookie at the end was a nice touch. The espresso was good too. Stir is a keeper.

A very nice lunch prior to taking in some amazing art. The burger… art in its own right.

Had a lovely lunch at Stir today. Each plate of food was delicious - beginning with the Parkerhouse rolls and ending with the Pine Nut topped cookies. The wait staff were attentive, but unobtrusive. It was the perfect way to begin a visit to the Art Museum. We will be back.

Another wonderful restaurant in Philadelphia. Stir- at the Philadelphia Art Museum was worth the wait. The beautiful space, designed by Frank Gehry, was not the only treat. The lunch was wonderful. I had the parsnip pear soup which I loved. My husband had the crab cake which was just about 100% crab and very little filler. And our server gave us cookies when we were done. It's a perfect place to grab a bite.

I ordered their burger and it was unexpectedly good for a cafe in the museum! Their service was also good.

Took a little to get questions answered. As if you were bothering them. Food was good.
