Popped in for a coffee and Italian sandwich during my trip! Fully loaded sandwiches and great coffee. Service was great and super efficient. Awesome stop off for a a little something on the go!

Best coffee in the city by far. I know that's quite the statement but once you taste their coffee, your body will crave it the next time you attempt to fulfill its caffeine needs with a cup of homemade grocery store brand. They have everything from slow pour/pour over as well as the newest addition of coffees on tap. Highly recommend their pure black coffee for those who drink coffee as black as their soul (aka me) and the Black and Tan for those who want a creamy element to their brew. Don't expect the biggest smile or drawn out convo from the baristas - there is usually a huge line behind you so they try their best to keep it moving. Might come off as being rude, but they're not! For those of you who hate lines and people, no worries! They have beans and ground coffee to enjoy in the privacy of your own abodes.

what an amazing coffee shop. I asked their specialty and they recommended the nitro latte, gave it a try and was super impressed! The vibe is cool, hospitality is on point, friendly and attentive. They sell their merch and coffee products. Definitely a must try if you're in Philly, check it out and you will be in love.

I was craving for some caffeine, but this coffee shop was 10 minutes from closing. The barista was so kind and even offered me a sample of their draft oat latte. I decided to order it, but then it just ran out, so she suggested a cold brew mix. The service was great and I walked away happy and with a great fix of caffeine!

This is my spot. I come here almost daily and have coffee talk with two other regulars. It’s become habit. I usually order a flat white, or cortado if I want something smaller in volume. Great spot, great coffee, friendly staff, cozy ambience, and great location by Rittenhouse Park.

Got a large hot house blend with almond milk and honey. They give you the coffee black and let you add your own almond milk and honey. It was extremely busy because it was during Rittenhouse farmers market but I was served promptly and the staff was friendly and cheerful. So many good coffee places in Philly but I will try this one again.

I've always been a fan of La Colombe coffee. I stop by once in a while and it's always a good experience. Line moves pretty quick, staff is friendly, and the coffee is good. It gets pretty packed sometimes though so you should get there earlier on the weekend if you're planning on sitting down and doing some work

Loved the coffee here. Only place I’ve visited who serve the coffee in actual mugs instead of single use items. Staff super friendly and nice place. Super recommended!

Stopped by mid afternoon for a post lunch coffee fix and pastry. Had a skinny latte and oat cortado, both were delicious. Also added the blueberry-orange muffin, which was highly recommended by the super friendly barista; it was so-so but probably cuz it was latter in the day. I’m sure that they are fresher in the morning. Place was packed and tables all full so we had to stand at the commons bar too. Great atmosphere and old school decore. Fascinating people watching spot!

Of course you should patronize La Colombe. It’s the best coffee in the city. I remember when this location was the only one…and smoking was allowed! So very continental. These days, the air is clear. This shop survived the pandemic by removing tables and creating a complex maze. Today it’s back to normal. Excellent people watching. The pastries are delicious. Baristas are friendly and adept. Can get crowded. In warm weather, grab a cup to go and enjoy it in Rittenhouse Square.

Excellent service and coffee in the Rittenhouse Square neighborhood of Philadelphia. I rarely buy coffee from stores, but decided to go in when I saw the place was packed inside. Good location for people-watching.

I visited this location for the first time last Friday. It was very crowded. An altercation between two customers broke out. Staff reacted immediately and took care of the situation despite the ignorance of the individuals. They should be commended.

I have not stopped talking about this place since I went here. It was a little intimidating because there was a whole line down the block and when you get in the building there were no menus anywhere but the atmosphere was amazing. It was very old-school and sleek. I ordered an iced oat milk draft latte and my boyfriend got the same but without ice. I wish I had gotten it without ice because it really didn’t need it. It didn’t need sugar either! It is honestly the best coffee I think I have ever had, and I’ve had thousands. It was so airy and similar to a Guinness (or any draft I suppose) and it had an amazing flavor. My only complaint is that they were sold out of the pumpkin/fall flavors but hey I understand.

Great coffee and ambiance. French baguette with ham and butter was great as well. Get the pastries! The donuts were out of this world delicious paired with a draft latte. 😍 I really liked the counter where the drinks are handed to customers. They have small saucers and spoons that they replace after you customize your drink if need be. High marks for the staff for being so professional and courteous in such a busy location. Repeat customer for sure.
