This is a great place to eat. I got a piece of dark chicken and a scoop of Mac and Cheese. Denise picked up a piece of white chicken and a Mac and Cheese.
The staff is friendly and helpful.
They also have many classic sodas.
Everything is on the first floor. And they have a customer bathroom.
I highly recommend the Wishbone restaurant.

Okay, so when the chicken is fresh, it is AMAZING! I really think it’s one of the best out there. But sometimes it sits out for a bit and dries out under a heat lamp, and it is still pretty good, but not the mouthwatering perfection that the fresh chicken is!
I do really like the fries and their fountain sodas too. It’s good flavors all around. But I think the biggest star that separates Wishbone from other chicken spots in town are their dipping sauces. There is a delicious sauce for everyone here. My favorite is modern BBQ with rich flavor and a bit if a kick.
I don’t want to admit how many pounds of chicken I bought from here over past five years, but trust me it’s a lot. Even though chicken is a little inconsistent sometimes, the place is so delicious it keeps me coming back.
Just be careful coming in at 2am because all the drunk people move straight from bars in here, and it is kind off a busy crowded nightmare. Props to the amazing staff members running the shop for keeping the space clean and the service fast even with 40 drunk people in the shop.
I recommend going around opening time for early lunch when you get that first batch of chicken. And I know their mac’n’cheese is very popular, but trust me and get some fries! They make them fresh to order and the portion is massive!
Food was amazing, got the Nashville hot and tots (one order will feed 2 people). Service was amazing. Lady(I'm bad with names and forgot) explained everything to me as this was my first time and was very kind and answered all of my questions. Would highly recommend.
Stopped in for a chicken sandwich before work. Got the Banh mi which definitely captured the flavors of an actual Banh mi. Would definitely return.
Great food, great vibes! The employee at the counter was super helpful and let me taste their signature sauce and their Mac and cheese since it was my first time. Loved the Mac and cheese! Their signature sauce was yum too, I’ll definitely try the wishbone sandwich next time. I got the Nashville hot and it was spicyyy but not unbearable. Great slaw. There are a couple tables to sit inside but I got my food for takeout. 3 double fridges worth of beers/sodas to choose from, and house made cocktails, and alcoholic slushies! Wow! Lots of options here. I also really liked the s’mores bar!
After a night out on the town dancing up an appetite, few places offer reliably good food after 2am. This, dear reader, is one of them. The mac and cheese or chicken fingers by the pound are sure to leave the hungry and inebriated.... well, satisfied and inebriated.
This was my first time visiting Wishbone and I didn't know what to expect so I basically got one of everything on display. I ended up getting 1 boneless tender (white meat), 1 boneless tender (dark meat), 1 wing drum, 1 caprese sandwich and the Mac and cheese.
The chicken is pretzel crusted and delicious. The food is very inexpensive and prices by the pound. My favorite from the restaurant has to be the caprese chicken sandwich which was probably the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. The other items I had that weren't pictured were the jalapeno corn bread (tastes very good, jalapeno was for flavor not spice), a biscuit and the Mac and cheese (very well seasoned).
You have the option to choose from different sauces for your chicken and a variety of beers/drinks also.
I usually end up in this place after going out in center city. I’ve been maybe 3 times and the chicken and Mac and cheese is always on point. It’s pretty expensive… so I wouldn’t come here normally but it’s a solid option after a night out.
O.M.G‼️ Delicious!! I was craving for a chicken sandwich, but i didnt want anything familiar. So i googled “chicken sandwiches near me.” And boom, Wishbone popped up. Let me tell you..... its freaking good! I had the “Wishboner fried chicken sandwich “ . The sauce is incredible. Its so fulfilling. Such a beautiful presentation too. Ordered to go & it only took 4-5 minutes...FRESH! I love it here💕
Country style, comfort food - fried chicken, Mac n cheese and tots. The only odd thing is they list their chicken by $ per pound but the employee only lets your order by piece, not weight. Try the gochujang ranch sauce
I’ve been eating here for 3 years. Compared to all the places you can get a good fried chicken sandwiches, none of them can produce a fried chicken sandwich better than Wishbone does. The Banh Mi sandwich is crispy, juicy, and is paired well with the fresh lettuce and freshly pickled vegetables. You are missing out if you do not choose Wishbone.
Portion size was great! Didn’t expect the chicken sandwich to be so big or else I wouldn’t have orders the tater tots in one sitting. Overall, food is delicious and reasonably priced
I feel like I need to go to confession because the flavor in these white meat tenders and Mac and cheese is sinful! Damn! I make my own killer Mac n cheese and this has nothing on mine. Seriously the best I've had and I'm a world traveling foodie! Nothing healthy about these except the portions! Worth the try! Added plus the selection of beer is pretty vast.
