Soy Cafe was one of the first vegetarian/vegan restaurants I remember finding in Philly, and I’ve loved them ever since! Fresh, delicious food, and friendly staff. I usually go for the wraps and smoothies, but if you make it for breakfast definitely try the waffle dots or one of the sweet toasts. They’ve got a cute outdoor patio, as well as some indoor seating where I’ve easily passed a few hours doing work or reading.
genuinely one of the BEST vegan food places I've ever eaten. they were so kind and the food was absolutely incredible. I really couldn't believe how tasty everything we got was! 10/10 would recommend :)

My Soy Cafe is one of my go-to spots when ever I trek into town. Soy Cafe is definitely one of those gems in Philly still serving up our community with healthy ingredients for the past 18 years. The cafe seating area provides nice vibes, a wide a nice sitting area, and you can also chill outside that also sits about 16 people. I treated myself to a delicious cafe late “double” and I ordered the “Heavenly Wrap” -Vegan ham, avocado, cucumber, tomato on a rice wrap, - healthy and delicious. if you’re in Northern Liberty area. Try out My Soy Cafe and continue to celebrate life to the fullest.

Delicious, so cute, very friendly and right on time with our take out order! The back patio is a lovely green oasis in the middle of the city. Everywhere I looked had another colorful detail, highlighting a lot of work from local artisans. We loved the wraps, cupcakes, edamame and drinks!
One of the best, if not the best vegan food I’ve ever had! The food is fresh and leaves you feeling full and energized. You get a lot of food, and the prices are very reasonable.
I walked in with a headache and a stuffy nose and walked out feeling much better. Real, quality food. Kind, hardworking staff, I will without a doubt come again.

Very welcoming and very nice people. A cool place to just hang to eat or sip. Very cozy and they make you feel like youre at home. Meets all the needs and requirements i would look for in a cafe.
Amazing vegan menu! So many options - one more delicious looking than the other. Can’t wait to come back more times and try the other items. I had the “ham and cheese”, it was SO good. 11/10
If you are looking for quality vegan/vegetarian food then stop looking. You found your hidden gem. Soy Cafe is my go-to spot for quality food that fills you up and makes you feel good too. They have options from vegan cheese steaks to veggie burgers. I highly recommend the barbecue wrap. My favorite item to get are their smoothies. The tea Nana is delicious and sweet and they even have a peanut butter jelly smoothie! Have to try that one next time. The owner and workers are also super chill and so delightful. Give this place a try, you won't regret it 👌
Great place for vegans and people that want to try their luck. Had the super veggie wrap, vegan sausage wrap and the veggie omelette. All tasted great and I highly recommend the sausage wrap, but it is a little spicy. I also had the green tea and the teapot looked very professional.
Really like this place overall. It’s like a food cafe, not like a coffee shop that you might read or work at.
PROS: totally vegan 🌱, ample seating, outdoor seating, lots of food options, good prices, friendly staff, lots of plants, the food options are pretty tasty, good value
CONS: waits are often longer than expected (giving an estimate for the wait times could help with expectations), unfortunately the pastries have been pretty consistently disappointing. A little cluttered inside, not the coziest eating environment
Catered sandwich trays were excellent! Cappacino on point and served nice and hot! This is my new favorite vegan place to eat. Wherever you are, get there!
Very friendly service!! I ordered a single espresso shot and the spicy tuna "toast-on." The coffee was mild, but with good flavor (especially for a single shot!) and the tuna sandwich was delicious and left me feeling prepared for the day!
Edit: I should note that I don't est at exclusively vegan or vegetarian places often, and I was so satisfied with the taste of everything as well ad how filling it was!
I loved this cozy spot! It felt like I was right at home, as I was visiting from New York City and was having a tough time finding anywhere to eat that offered decent vegan/vegetarian options. The eggplant sandwich I had was absolutely amazing. The cheese melted right off, the eggplant was grilled to perfection, and the dressing for the salad was a ginger concoction that was unlike anything I’d had before. 10/10 would recommend for a quick bite in a cute neighborhood.
Listen up!!!! I eat here all the time but I felt compelled to write a review today because I got the same thing I always got and it was extra yummy. I got the veggie cheesesteak wrap with mushrooms on a garlic and herb 'tilla, and they got the edges of the "beef" a little bit extra crispy and it was transcendant.
This place totally rips, and they even drew a smiley face on the bag. Thank u soy cafe I luv u
