Very fresh sushi. Intimate seating & ambiance. Rolls are made to order & not over flavored so you can taste all the ingredients inside. A must for sushi lovers, will be back. Price is also comparable to others places.

Best Sushi in Philly and I've lived downtown for 5 years. Small dining room with the most professional and attentive owner. Seems a bit odd at first but as soon as you sit down you feel so welcome. Well priced and delicious. Has become one of my go-tos

My favorite sushi spot in the city. The fish quality is excellent. The atmosphere is quaint and low key. The owner is really nice and passionate about his cusine. My wife and I go about twice a month. Hidden Gem!!!

This is easily my favorite sushi place in Philadelphia! The atmosphere is calm and serene and the cozy setting is perfect for a romantic dinner. The owner prepares all the sushi himself and he is always warm and inviting. I have tried almost the entire menu and I have never been disappointed. This is the best kept secret for sushi in the city and I know because I've eaten at all of them and no one comes close to UZU. Yes, not even the legendary Morimoto.

Not busy on a Wednesday Evening. Seated immediately and was able to get two wine glasses for our bottle. Should have remembered to bring the white! Service was polite and well mannered. The Uzu Royal (for two) comes with soup and a salad but I didn't realize that was one of each! If he had asked we probably would have asked for a set for each of us. The sushi and rolls were outstanding will come back and order a smorgasbord of exotic rolls with friends.

The best Sushi, we have had in Philly. It's small but worth the wait. Great priced. It was the right choice for a New Year's eve... just steps away from Penns landing.

Consistently amazing, fresh sushi! Slightly more expensive but totally worth it. Only downside is they add wasabi to the sushi and if you don't like that then make sure you specify beforehand. Overall excellent!

Absolutely delicious, very fresh ingredients and priced well. The owner was extremely kind and caring for us, even when our two-year-old starting getting restless. He even went to take her for a walk outside while we ate. We would return just for the food, but their caring put it over the top.

Wow. Such fresh sushi, made to order by your own personal sushi chef. A very small and intimate environment. Love it.

Wonderful little place! Food was all delicious, and when my family and I came here, we were the only ones here, so service was fast, and everyone we talked to was very nice. I don't know why this isn't more popular!

The place is small but the food was amazing. They were quick and had a nice selection for the menu. Next time I'm in town, I will be eating here again.
