not the kind of place you go if you want a super friendly attentive server...my family and friends enjoy the no frills service...food is great..everything from lemon chicken to beef with green beans or even the vegetable plate..
The ambiance is the same as I can remember. Not a bad thing, since we go for the food. It's a must stop when coming to Philly Chinatown.
One of the best meals I've had in Chinatown. Dumplings were incredible. Peking duck on steamed buns were delicious

Best wonton soup around. Not the fanciest place , but definitely one great spot for delicious food
Love the place. Being going there for 30 years. Best noodle dishes ever.
Best Chinese food in Philadelphia. It’s legit. Get the fried dumplings. Thank me later.
Excellent food! Be sure to try the salt and pepper chicken wings as an appetizer.
The food is wonderful...The inside of restaurant smelled like sewer. Well they fixed it. They we went back to eat again. Thank god they fixed the smell. Now we sit down... two seconds I move my napkin not 1 but 2 roaches on the table. They moved us to another table... David you better get this fixed. I love your food. But the restaurant needs to be cleaned.....and pesticide apps applied....
Food was outstanding as always and the server was great this visit!
Best won ton, egg rolls I've eaten! Try the salt and pepper wings...make sure you get the ginger garlic sauce
I’ve seen this video maybe it was on Instagram about if you’re looking for the most authentic Chinese food, go for the places with 3 stars on Yelp. Service is ehh but good enough, but the food on the other hand, so good. This is one of those places. Open late night, known for their salt and pepper wings, ask for side of hot oil mmMmm. Some of my other favorites, chow fun with gravy, and their house fried rice, lobster with ginger scallions, always so good. They still aren’t opened for dine in but when you drive by and see the line outside for just pick up, you know it has to be that good 🤤😋😋
My favorite place to grab a meal whenever I am in Philadelphia. Unfussy old school Cantonese and Chinese American style dishes. The dumpling/wonton soups are a must and great for a cold winter's day (don't forget to put white pepper on the soup). The salt and pepper chicken wings are to die for. Crispy, slightly spicy and salt.
Been coming here for over 10 years. My first time was like most others, 2am and drunk! I had to go early in the night to see if it was really that good. It WAS! I don’t live in philly anymore, but I drive back when I get those cravings. Salt & pepper chicken wings, Hong Kong noodle soup, and my favorite, the honey walnut shrimp.
I got to my hotel at midnight and asked the receptionist if there's any restaurant open at this hour and she recommended this place. I got there and this place was busy. I ordered salt and pepper soft shell crab and beef chow fun. Boy...oh boy.. They're really good. Highly recommend for nighttime meal.
One of the few late-night spots in the city. The portions and food are fantastic, irrespective the time of the day. Getting the food is a bit complicated - try to order on the phone.
Absolutely love this place!! My family likes to visit when we come to Chinatown. And we have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Our favorite dishes are the sweet and sour pork and the lobster (cantonese or with ginger and scallions). Be aware though that ordering is typical Chinese style, so each dish is meant to be shared and not just for 1 person. Otherwise you may have too much food.
Food was really good as always. Service was good as well. It was after 1:30 in the morning and everything was fresh and the staff maintained the same positive energy with all clients. However, heads up on the customers that come in around that time; it does get crowded, pretty loud and interesting after 2 am. They're opened until 3 am so they will seat you until then if you're dining in. No need for reservation. You don't feel like dining in, then order to go. Just a side note in this case: place your order in advance before getting there. Limited metered street parking available since it's located right in the busiest intersection of Chinatown. If you're in the area, you must check them out. Bon appétit.
This is my first time at this restaurant. Before the pandemic you could eat in, but now they're just doing takeout. I only ordered chicken wings because my daughter said how good they were, and she wasn't lying! They were delicious! They were nice and crispy and not too big. Try the salt and pepper wings because as the owner said they're better than the regular wings. I'll definitely be back.
In the heart of Chinatown! Food was great, service could have been better. We ordered vegetarian steamed dumplings, egg drop soup and general Taos chicken.
Too bad that they don’t let us dine in anymore. They make this very plain dumpling, but they are perfect with the ground ginger sauce. Their chicken wings with pepper is also my favorite. You will see why so many celebs have visited this place. Warning, the waters are not that friendly, but the food is good. Your choice to make:)
Salt and Pepper Chicken is hands down the best meal here! You will not go wrong ordering it!
We had the General Tsao Chicken with Egg fried rice. My kids loved the GTC but i wasnt too fond of it
I'm giving them a four star review based on the salt and pepper shrimp because the customer service is horrible. But the sal and pepper shrimp are worth the abuse! Lol Just landed on 5.5.22, came here straight from the airport, so worth it! They're so good! There's no longer inside seating. Take out only.
