For a college bar, great food and chill atmosphere. Definitely feels more modern and upscale in terms of a college bar. Food is a step up from usual places and pizza/dough consistency was great. Low key great drink specials especially how expensive philly bars can be. Will for sure be back for food
Yummy pizza! Would recommend for a quick bite to eat. The pricing isn’t bad and the pizza always tastes fresh and it’s nice and hot. Lots of different flavors to try as well. I’d recommend stopping by!
Such awesome memories and a great college bar! Stopped at Maxi’s last weekend and the pizza was just as yummy as I remembered. A lot of good times spent at the bar and at the counter grabbing slices to go. So happy Maxi’s is still there on Temple campus for all students and alumni to enjoy! Keep tho
I'd only come here for the pizza. I tried getting pasta from here once and not only did the service take forever, but it tasted like a bag of rocks.
That being said, the pizza here is awesome, and it's even more awesome that it's open until 2 AM.

I came here for late night food after arriving to Phillie. I got the meat lovers pizza. It was delicious. I didn’t realize that it is a bar too. Seemed like a cool atmosphere. Pizza Hut the spot and will definitely gra a pie next time I’m in Philadelphia.

About 10 years later giving Maxis a review. Went to Temple 2009-2015; Maxis always had my back. Great pizza and affordable as well. The location of Maxis is great for most areas of the immediate Temple area. In terms of the bar, always good vibes and bartenders when I attended.
If you haven't had the buffalo chicken pizza here you havent lived. It's so good and everything else is good too. Nice spot on Temples campus. Highly recommend!
Its a typical college bar. Good drink specials and half price apps. Sometimes the music is a bit too loud, and thats just my personal opinion. But other than that it's always a good time when im there

Such a fun college bar! I went with a friend on karaoke night and it was such a great atmosphere. The drinks were fairly priced ($5), but served in very small disposable cups. So you end up ordering a million drinks and paying the same as you would anywhere else. Good drinks though.
