La Rosa Pizzeria - Philadelphia - Photo album

Simply put, the best pizza in the world. I just drove 8+ hours from Vermont to get my La Rosa pizza fix. Always a great pie served up with friendly and personal service. Try some today!
One of my go-to spots. Thicker Square pizza but I wouldn't call it Sicilian. I believe they make their own rustic bread. Great selection of toppings.
Our AirBNB was right around the corner and their menu was specifically pizza and Stromboli so we knew they did their food well. We got a sausage Stromboli and the flavors were out of this world the perfect combination. We got some authentic marinara to eat with it. A delicious and authentically Ital
To be truthful this was the 2nd place I called for delivery, the 1st place wanted 35 dollars for pizza including my 5 dollar tip, I call LA Rosa, first time ever, Dallas vs Eagles figure it would be a hr, nope 30 min and it was great, I didn't realize ot was square, but it was great and a lot less t
I've been eating this pizza for about 20 years now and it's never any less than amazing... 100% recommend this place. Always incredible!
Great rustic squares slices. Best Sicilian pizza I know in South Philly. One slice can fill you up but I always get at least two. I ordered a whole cheese pie and was not disappointed as the cheese is tasty and the sauce too. It is a must when you are craving real Sicialian square pan pizza.
My first time and it was amazing! Sauce has the perfect consistency, crust was a little to crisp for me but i took into account that it was reheated slices. Toppings were the proverbial cherry on top! Great vaule also two slices and a soda for 6.50 is great! Will be back!
I called up to order a pie, half sausage half pepperoni. I read a lot about the potato pizza so I asked the woman if they had any slices available. She said “No, but I can make some for you”. NOW THAT IS CUSTOMER SERVICE. Never have I had a pizza shop offer to make me a single slice, it’s always “wh
The workers here are outstanding! Quick service, tasty pizza and many smiles! I was having a horrible day. My Dad was in the hospital. We were all tired and upset. But walking into LA Rosa I was greeted with a smile. They are so kind and uplifting 💕 Wonderful people and great food made the day a bit
Amazing place! The pizza is good, but peak over the counter to see what they’ve made. The focaccia is also fantastic. Anche i proprietari sono veramente italiani! Many thanks to Cristina for being so welcoming.
I'll give you an idea of just how good they are. I drove 30 miles from my home to get two slices of a rustic Italian bread that's crispy on the outside. Warm and chewy on the inside! Homemade mozzarella cheese, with fresh ingredients and an Italian gravy that's unmatched in South Philly! Try the pot
Delicious pizza great bread. The pizza is always consistent and just enough of everything. Price is right. Really like it.
Great pizza by the slice! Excellent sausage. Really solid crust. You’ll find this place on a lot of “best in Philly” lists. This is a city with some excellent pizza but I agree this is one of the best. Be warned: this is a really rough part of the street. You’ll want to walk quickly but I’ve never
If you’re visiting Philly, you need to stop here and pick up a pie. Light, crispy and fantastic. If you live in Philly and have never been here, you need to go now. I do a round trip from Long Island for this pizza. It’s that good.
Always a good choice. Open on Sundays too... highly recommend the potatoe pie( thin slices of home fries on a white pie)
I haven't had this pizza since high school (88-92), Sicilian (square) pies, and it is still good. The area it is in is getting worse, but overall I will continue to eat here
