Love the Food! Been coming here a while. In restaurant dining is quiet at least the times I've visited. Nice place to go and have a chat.
Ordered a Dragon Roll and Godzilla Roll from Kansai Japanese Cuisine through DoorDash for lunch this week. The rolls were made well. No complaints; I typically mix it up and order sushi from a handful of places around the city. Kansai is now part of that rotation.
Had lunch here one quiet rainy afternoon. For around $12, I had 12 assorted pieces of sashimi that was accompanied with miso soup and a bowl of rice. I love this restaurant! The server, I think her name is Vivian, was very caring. The food was great. I ordered squid with teriyaki sauce - I loved it! Prices were reasonable. Also, the restroom was clean. Highly recommended!

I love you guys so much. Moving back to Philly from LA I was nervous about finding a new spot and Kansai has eased my concerns! We ordered to go from them 4 times now and they never fail me. The sushi was fresh, well prepared and tasty the Godzilla Roll is probably the best interpretation I have tried of it so far.

fav sushi in for philly. i used to go to vic’s but i enjoy kansai a lot more. dont except any fancy dine in experience though.. since covid its been mostly take out but u can also dine in

EVERYTHING IS AMAZING HERE! We tried various sushi rolls, chicken/salmon teriyaki, salmon tartar, BBQ squid. It was all delicious. And the prices are so reasonable I couldn't believe how little we spent. Do yourself a favor and visit.
