Nice beer selection and vibes. It has a very laid-back atmosphere. The staff was pleasant, as well.
This is a not so hidden gem. Stocked with a wide variety of beer you can buy by the bottle, mix and match packs, or cases. They also sell wine. Take your drinks to go or sit in their seating area, great for a conversation, watching a sporting event or playing a board game. Prices are fair, staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!
The best bar on East Passyunk, hands down. I cannot fathom how many beers they have here, both on draught and in the fridges. They also have cheeky shots of liquor. Every worker is remarkably kind, personable, and knowledgeable about the beers they offer. Don’t skip this spot!
I thoroughly enjoy this place. I've been a loyal customer with The Bottle Shop since 2013 (when they were further south on Passyunk Ave) and I really can't recommend this place enough.
The attention to detail with the various beers they have in-stock is incredible. The staff are very laid back and informative; they are not condescending when you're unsure of certain beers or wines, they truly just want to help you get what your palette will enjoy. The back room is also comfortable and inviting for customers to eat their take out food and drinks they've purchased at the shop with movies and shows playing in the background.
You're really missing out not vising this place for all your beer and wine needs. A real genuine space!
Ok, so I didn’t look at the sign that says Beer, Wine, Taps. I was able to purchase unique, bottled wine for a gift and the place has a variety of wines, beers, etc. The place, has a nice area to sit and have a cocktail. The girl at the counter was so very nice! Glad I stopped in to see the place.

Great staff, helpful... and the best of all is they deliver adult beverages... especially when in many.. Almost all places, you typically would not know that this place delivers in PA!! Both🍷 & 🍺... Expect to pay a big more, but that's expected... Supply and demand. If you're having a lazy or busy night, and you don't (or can't) get to a "state store"...
... Def worth checking out. The gals who answer the phone are great... I think they own the place, and the delivery guys are always friendly and prompt.
Oh and (yes you're supposed to tip 😉) they work hard driving all over the place!

Love the vibes here! A bit of option overload but that's half the fun, I ended up just going with what looked the coolest and didn't regret my choice. For a good price, you get a nice buzz, meet some of the local pups and get to watch a game on the TV in the back. Picked up a nice coozie on my way out!
A lovely place! Great selection of local and seasonal beers. Recently, they've started selling wine. They have a modest, but strong selection of wine at different price points, perfect for the BYOBs that surround them. I also love the cider and occasional mead(!) that they carry. Small but well curated draft selection. Pet friendly as well.
It's the perfect place to try out new beers and also snag some of the limited release brews throughout the year. Their selection of wine and bubbly is good too and the perfect place to pick up a bottle of wine when you're on your way to that new trendy BYOB. The staff is welcoming and very helpful and more so during COVID the delivery folks have been THE BEST EVER!!! And whenever I order, the delivery is here in a flash. Thank you!

This place rules. I used to come here occasionally when visiting friends near Passyunk, and I always had a great experience in store, but honestly their delivery service is why I'm leaving a five star review. Since going into quarantine March 2020, I've gotten beer delivered from here A LOT, and every single interaction we've had from placing orders on the site, to receiving personalized phone calls when something was out of stock, all the way down to consistently on time delivery, has been phenomenal. I'm so happy to be able to support a local business during these times, but honestly the service makes it a no-brainer.
I have to be honest, I haven't lived in Philly for a while, and I still think of this place often. It's in a very convenient location. The staff are amazing, and they have a huge selection of beverages to choose from. Hit this place up for all of your beer needs!
Good assortment of beer singles, but very few six packs. Prices were really high, almost double what I’ve seen for some bottles elsewhere. I appreciate anywhere that allows dogs though. Interesting small wine selection as well.
The staff here is as good as their selection! I called over on the release day of a fairly rare beer from Founders. To my surprise, they actually had it in stock! The bigger surprise was when the cashier offered to set one aside for me. I came in after work and it was still there. I left a very happy customer!
