Came back today for the first time since Lost Bread Co.'s reopening of the Fishtown location, and everything is even better than I remember. We specifically love the Seedy Sourdough and the Pretzel Shortbreads, but very excited that this location is back open so we can try even more of their delicio
Recently at the Union Square Greenmarket in NYC, purchased a few of the baked goods including the Sourdough Focaccia bread and the Sourdough Rye Seeded Raisin bread, and they were both delicious, and natural, organic, local, where Lost Bread mills the whole grains themselves, and using almost all wh
Finally! I found my favorite bakery in town. I love their bread and their pastries are delicious. They use special and tasty ingredients which made them unique in flavor. I will always come back
Some of the best bread in Philly - not a small feat by any means. Their Japanese Milk Bread is one of my favorite loaves of slicing bread, cannot go wrong with it. They also typically have a great selection of more "rustic" loaves but across the board, the flavor of these loaves are complex and ulti
really cool little spot!! they mill their own flour and have some unique choices…gorgeous big soft chocolate chip cookie (with smoked malt). cashier was super helpful, friendly, knowledgable!
Don’t really know how this hasn’t blown up yet but go now before there’s a line around the block. This is the best kind of bread you can get anywhere, not just Philly.
Small breakfast menu also showcased excellent flavors that highlight the 🥖
And coffee is gooooood toasted by the man pulling the
This is such a lovely bread company with a small cafe in the front of the factory to order small bread dishes. There was also a man who was having a coffee pop-up and his coffee was delicious! I wish I could remember the name of his coffee company. We ordered the ratatouille which was amazing and ve
So stoked Lost Bread is finally open for retail. Not your mom's sabich, but hands down the best I've had. The pickle flavor is strong, but well balanced by the tahini, and the sesame bread it's on added nice earthy tones as well. Picked up a table loaf for home too, and equally impressed by the ligh
What a nice surprise to find this store without any fancy decoration or shining formal storefront. The woman behind the cashier is pleasant and knowledgable about all her product. She explains all the ingredient and how it's made on those loaves. We bought BeetRoot Rye and Homadama. Both are unique,
Got the some bread at the Dickinson Park farmers market. Looks amazing and tastes just as good. Toasts well.
Their Eikhorn canele is simply incredible! Delicious!
I wish they had better hours but at least you can get their goods at local markets like DiBruno Bros and Rittenhouse market. Not to mention farmer's markets. Their pretzel shortbread is so good - I had it as a favor for my wedding. I wish they sold their burnt toast biscotti at more markets though!
This place was a definite surprise, I went in open minded and the food was delicious. I got the grilled Scallops, it was absolutely some of the best scallops I've ever had. I highly recommend to get the uced barley tea if it's available.
I get their breads through The Rounds, the seedy loaf is so good
Entirely surprising!
I’m very pleased when a bakery makes one unique item that makes a visit worthwhile. For me, it’s usually an excellent croissant. We purchased three items from Lost Bread Co - a croissant, a loaf of seedy grains bread, and burnt toast biscotti. Each of them is a destination prod
Order online during the week and pick up your order here on certain days. You can also walk-in on the couple of days they're open. There's decent coffee available on site too. Bread is great but the star for me is the pizza kits. You get dough, sauce, and cheese for two medium pizzas for $16; "Pizza
I was told by the cashier that bread should not be expensive and it should taste good, and quite simply Lost Bread company embodies this philosophy as evident in their diverse selection of breads available for purchase from as low as $6. From whole wheat to rye, seedy grain, and "table" bread, it be
I just made French toast out of their milk bread and I gotta say, using this loaf with Kenji’s recipe turned out the best I’ve ever had in my life. This loaf beats both challah and brioche by a mile.
Couldn’t be happier!
