Voted Best Sandwich in America a few years back. Always in the conversation no matter who you talk to as simply not if it’s one of the best - just is it 1,2 or 3 on your list. Roast pork, broccoli robbe, sharp prov. Hard seeded roll. Don’t sleep on the roast beef which is just as good!!

Love their sandwiches. The roasted pork sandwich is amazing. We try and come here each time we are in Philadelphia. The restaurant is in the reading terminal market and I gave it 3 stars only because they have removed all of the counter seating. Now you have to take your order and hope you can find seating. When it’s busy you may have to wait to sit.

Hands down best sandwhich in philly! I’ve brought people from all over the world here and everyone agrees this place is delicious! Pork, provolone, and greens - a perfect combination! Also, it is a local, multi-generational family business!

Let me just get to the Food Review of the Roast Pork Sandwich, "AMAZING SANDWICH"! My first visit to the Reading Terminal Market and my first stop was Tommy DiNic's. I heard about them through a food episode of the best sandwiches in the U.S. through Adam Richman and had to make a trip there. Definitely Worth the Trip! Will Definitely be back. If you like spicy, get with the Italian Long Hot Pepper. What a taste combo!

Fantastic! Juicy and flavorful....delivered in soft and springy bread The Pork was seasoned and tender! The Broccoli Rabe added such a great texture to it all....and some great savory veg flavor. And the Cheese and juices covered it all! Staff was very nice to me and the cook's were cranking it all out!

You cannot deny that Tommy Dinic’s is fashioned as one of the greatest sandwich places in Philadelphia, let alone in the nation. Back to a bittersweet childhood upbringing, brought me back to Reading Terminal market, to a bittersweet broccoli rabe, succulent pork, and sharp provolone. I’ll just say, it’s a heck of a sandwich! I’m not usually in for pork, but Tommy Dinic’s made me love it! Their topping is bitter but the juicy flavors overpower the rabe. The pork was tender and the cheese was immediately hitting my senses. The bread is the only thing I have to dock on this sandwich. It’s too soft for my liking. I would’ve rather had a bread that is soft and fluffy on the inside, and crispy and crumbly on the outside. That way, I can savor the already amazing sandwich for what it’s worth. The best thing about this sandwich, it has greatly impressed me that the roast pork’s reputation lines up against the immensely popular cheesesteak! I’d give the upper hand to the cheesesteak, but don’t dismiss what flavors you’d be missing out on with Dinic’s! Don’t overlook Philly as a hotspot destination for food, beyond its history. Food culture is about a good as it could ever get. Couldn’t believe how quick the service was considering the line. I was fortunate enough to meet the owner who took care of my meal. He was a great man who obviously has carried his family tradition that has its loyal customers and tourists enjoy his hospitality and food. I would most definitely recommend you visit Tommy Dinic’s!

Food was excellent. Service was excellent. Skip the Philly Cheese Steaks that are mediocre at best and come get a pork sandwich. Fantastic. The market was awesome too so just an added benefit to coming to get a sandwich.

We LOVE stopping here to get a roasted pork sandwich! Line is usually long but moves extremely quick. They know what they are doing!!! The brisket sandwich is also delicious as well! Make sure you get there early because they do sell out sometimes before closing time!

Loved this place. Basic sandwich menu, no thrills or frills but they know their art. Was recommended by a good friend and It didn’t disappoint. Must order the pork roast sandwich.

I’m sorry to say but coming from NY I wouldn’t waste the slightest room ona cheese steak over this Roast beef hero. Hands down the best I’ve ever had. I prefer the spinach, provolone and roast but just devoured a brisket sandwich immediately after. 2 and a half hour worth it drive. Phenomenal.

This place can pop out a sandwich so fast it’s not even funny. I got their Italian Sausage with, provolone, spicy peppers, and onions. Divine! Those peppers were hot!

Had to be a tourist and check out the city’s second most famous sandwich. The roast pork (with cheese, broccoli rabe, and hot peppers) was something truly special. Worth every ounce of hype. Fair warning: I like a good amount of spice, and these peppers beat me up pretty good, which was delightful to see. The bread on this sandwich, like all Philly style sandwiches, was secretly the star here.

Dinics is a Philly staple best roast beef sandwich. A must do when traveling to Philadelphia. Reading terminal market is great for people watching.

Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. My advice is to get the roast pork with cheese, peppers, and greens. This is quite affordable considering how popular it is - in a city like NY you’d pay $30 for a similar sandwich.

At Philly for the weekend, this is my quick review series of food places I have visited. This is one of the places highly recommended at the Reading Terminal Market. The line was about 30 people long at lunch time, but it moved quickly and in about 10 minutes we had our order. I got the Roast Pork sandwich, with spicy peppers, onions and cheese (as recommended by locals). We brought it back to the hotel and noticed they didn't put cheese or onions/scallions, so a bit disappointed I didn't get to try it fully loaded. The meat was flavorful, but certainly it was lacking"something" (I would've put some mustard but didn't see they offer it). Might come back again to try other items like the Brisket.

The service is fast and user-friendly. Very busy location that handles its business well. The food I had was the Roast Pork whole sandwich with sharp provolone. Delicious sandwich and would highly recommend.
