We had a Batter and Crumbs chocolate peanut butter cake for my husband’s birthday recently ! It was phenomenally good tasting beyond being a work of art. Very decadent looking but very light and every bite leaves you begging for more!!! Highly recommend this wonderful company which seems to be soaring to the top of the vegan baking scene in Philadelphia. And take my word for it; You do
not need to be vegan to love their creations!! And I should also add that this duo is super responsive and accommodating to their customers!!

I ordered a 9" vanilla layer/chocolate layer cake with chocolate icing for my daughter's birthday. She is the only vegan in our family. I can honestly say that this cake was more delicious than any non-vegan I've had. The owners are very friendly and helpful. My cake was delivered to my door. All I had to do was place the order online. We will definitely be using the bakery in our future.

Had a fantastic triple chocolate cake from this place last night for my husband's birthday. It wasn't just great for a vegan cake, it was a great cake period. Delivery was within the one hour window as promised. I'm super impressed and can't wait for another occasion to try another cake.
I ordered my first cake this week and was not disappointed! The cake was outstanding! It was beautifully decorated and the taste was amazing. Everyone at the party absolutely loved it. Beyond the cake the staff was amazing to deal with and made this such a great experience. Going forward I will be getting all of my cakes from Batter&Crumbs!

Have only ordered twice, and both times it was the apple crumb pie. It was firm, delicious, not overly sweet and devoid of any unnatural taste. I think these fellows have found the formula for those with dietary scruples. Also sampled a couple of their cupcake selections at Frankies On Fairview. They were scrumptious without making me feel as if I had obliterated my commitment to health. They even delivered my orders to my home away from home--Starbucks! This vegan, fruitarian and raw foodist (who occasionally cheats) highly recommends this bakery.
Just had their blueberry coffee cake at the Media Burlap and Bean location. Perfection! A very moist cake, and not overly sweet. 10/10. I'm not a vegan, but this is a damn fine coffee cake. Thanks, Batter & Crumbs!

We special ordered a birthday cake for my daughter, Gia’s 2nd Birthday. DELICIOUS is an understatement!! The cake was amazing! And the design was absolutely gorgeous and just what we had wanted. Everything I have eaten from Batter & Crumbs has been out of this world! The brownies are delicious, the cannoli are crunchy and creamy, and the s'mores bars are so fun! Not to mention.. the PUMPKIN PIE! yum! Aside from the amazing desserts, John and Paul are wonderful, thoughtful, kind, and generous human beings.

It is has always been tough to find anything vegan in Delaware County and trying to find a vegan bakery was even tougher. Thanks to Batter & Crumbs not only is there a Vegan Delaware County Bakery but everything that I have had is amazing!!! I shared these with family that could not tell the difference between these vegan masterpieces and regular cupcakes. The standards of what they make are high and it truly shows. I've been coming to B&C for years now, and recently got my wedding cake from them as well. They are always very kind, friendly, and helpful. The coffees are always tasty as well as the food and sweets! I love how they are pet friendly, always participating in clothing drives and putting up notices for pets looking for forever homes. The clean and spacious bathroom is also a huge plus. Overall it's a very comfortable atmosphere inside. 10/10 recommend.
This place is the bees knees. Batter and crumbs is an all vegan bakery and cafe. We live in the neighborhood and are weekly (sometimes even twice weekly) regulars. They have a seasonal drink menu and a ton of fun baked goods to try. If you're in the mood for a latte or two these cool cats are the best at slingin beans. Also, and this might be weird, but make sure you stop in the bathroom for some funky and adorable artwork. Many crumbs to you! ❤️
THEY ARE AMAZING!!! As someone who is lactose intolerant, it saves me a lot of work when I'm looking for pastries. The staff are so very friendly and is wonderfully designed. If you're in the south philly area, do yourself a favor and come on by!
The ability to find good vegan food in the city has become much easier and Batter and Crumbs is a prime example. Not just good though - great! I personally love their breakfast sandwiches and my opinion is backed up by others, including non-vegans who just love good food. Also, they’re desserts/sweet stuff - awesome! And the atmosphere there can’t be beat. Staff there is always friendly and welcoming. Love B&C!
What an amazing experience I had! I ordered my own birthday cake (because I’m an adult and can do this,) and when I came to pick it up, they asked if I wanted anything written on it and were so sweet about taking the time to write the message out. I had a chocolate croissant while I waited and had a perfectly lovely time. And then the cake turned out to be one of the most delicious, decadent cakes I’ve ever tasted. My party guests went wild. This is my new favorite cafe!
My all time favorite cafe and bakery in South Philly with the cutest atmosphere! It’s such a feel good space, with great energy, the cutest decor — you must checkout the restroom, IYKYK, amazing staff and the tastiest coffee and treats ever!
My favorite place in Philly & even if I didn’t live a few blocks away I think I’d still be here every day! It’s a vegan dream.

We have loved Batter and Crumb for a long time for vegan breakfast sandwiches and coffee cake, but they recently made a cake for a birthday for us and it was incredible. They were so thoughtful with their designs and reasonably priced. We LOVED it. We would definitely recommend this place!!!

Sandwiches pumpkin bread and coffee are delicious! Owners are super friendly. They always go above and beyond to make you feel at home. Relaxing in my favorite chair is a great way to spend a Sunday morning.
Batter and Crumbs is my JAM! I love going here as often as I can. GET THE SPINACH JAWN! DO IT! I'm not a fan of spinach, but I get two or three of those things because they're amazing! We usually grab a few other sandwiches or wraps to go, too, and heat them up later.
I live in Massachusetts but had heard about this vegan bakery. We ordered 3 cakes, brownies and cupcakes and planned to drive down and back same day. We left home early and arrived late morning at the bakery. We were greeted by one of the owners, Paul, who had everything all set to go. He also assisted in carrying everything out to our car. Once home we pulled out the first cake to eat and froze everything else. It was the best vegan cake we had eaten - ever. Over time, we thawed the brownies, other cakes and cupcakes and everything was amazing! We cannot recommend the bakery highly enough. Not only to eat fresh but also after freezing for months. Great, friendly service at a very fair price.
We went with Batter & Crumbs for our wedding cake. They were incredible to work with and the cake came out exactly how we wanted it to. All of our guests kept commenting on how delicious the cake was. We are so grateful!
Great place. Great atmosphere. However, I love real cream in my coffee and did not notice anywhere that it was a vegan cafe.. I feel if you ask for cream, you should be told that it's not real cream. I Only found out by looking at the receipt. Is vegan posted anywhere outside? If so, it should be more clear.
Loving how this place is comfortable community, terrific tastiness, plus chic, compassionate and computing friendly. Nice throwback of an indie coffeehouse brought fantastically forward.
One of the best bakeries around and to me it's just a plus that it is all vegan. Non vegans would never know! Any selection is fabulous and they also have the best tasting coffee in the city. Comfortable decor that makes you want to stay, relax and enjoy your food and drink. If you stop by be sure to check out the artwork in the bathroom! (how many places get ratings that include their bathrooms?). A definite must visit every time I am in the city.

So I do doordash/Uber eats and yesterday I had to pick up order here from Uber eats and I'm looking for some vegan spots in Philadelphia. So after I dropped off the order I made a stop here for breakfast and this is what I had I really enjoyed the food and the drink.
