The Best Vegan Dessert Assortments! I've been to vegan commissary at multiple time periods during it's journey and I'm never disappointed. Went and got some zucchini chocolate cake and it was the moist, rich chocolatey deliciousness I needed. Staff is very friendly and this place is a real winner!
Wholesale vegan food but can whip you up a few things! Check out their website for their daily menu. I tried the carrot dog and the meatball sub. Both were fantastic but especially the sub! Best I've ever had, smothered in sauce and vegan cheese! Was a pleasure chatting with Steve as well!

Really great little vegan spot in South Philly. They have a great, easy to find location on Wolf St. They have a really great selection of both food made to order, and pre-made gran and go products. And best of all, everything is one hundred percent vegan!

While husband was getting a procedure at Jefferson Methodist I picked up some lunch here. There’s a grab and go menu and daily specials. I had the tomato bisque, goat cheese toast and brownie. All were delicious and Steve was lovely. Wish this place existed near me. I’d be a regular.
Alas I don't know alot of vegan places close to me. But I found the Vegan Commissary.
What a treat! Steven is a great guy very pleasant and the Chicken cheese steak.... Could have been 2 meals but it was too tasty and warm to stop, very tasty ...I will return
The food here is awesome. There is a wide selection of stuff and the menu constantly has new stuff added to it. Not to mention the staff is very friendly. If your looking for a good vegan meal/snack quickly this is the place to go and doesn’t compromise on quality to provide it either.
I LOVE this place and the owner Steve. The food is delicious. There is always variety and the portions are big! I especially love the brunch sandwich with mushroom scrapple, gnocchi, cookies, and the Mac and cheese! But try out whatever tickles your fancy because it’s all amazing.
If you're looking for good vegan food in Philadelphia that is actually made with love... this is the place to go. Everyone there makes you feel like you're family and the food is amazing! If you try it once... you'll be back again lol. Almost a guarantee
