Hadramout - Philadelphia - Photo album

Did some takeout here on an impulse excursion and gotta say we were pretty blown away. The rice; fluffy and dense with flavor. The lamb; pulled beautifully from the bone, tender as all hell. The bread; massive, reminiscent in texture and chewiness to Neapolitan pizza crust, with a amazing char. The
Authentic Yemeni food, tastes delicious! The lamb chop was very well done! Plenty of seating space, and food portion was good. We have shared a few dishes to try them all, and the beef dish was the best. Parking is difficult to find, and tried some juice from the next store, which was extremely good
Awesome Yemeni food. Served hot and large portions. Flavors are deep and amazing with the spices. I loved the Sizzling Lamb Fahsah and the size of the bread. Prices are great too. Highly recommend if you’re in the area, want to try something new, or need a late night dinner. Owner is super nice. Che
The food was amazing! The haneeth and soup are a must here! The waiters are also always nice
The food here is just fantastic. This is amazing Middle Eastern food. It is extremely affordable (around $12 for large shareable dishes) and the restaurant itself is very cozy and accessible. I’ve been back already three times in a couple weeks because I can’t help but want to try every dish in the
Oh my - My only disappointment is at this place has existed for 5 years and I didn't know until now. Had the Lamb Haneeth and Lamb Liver - BEST lamb I've had outside of my own kitchen! Perfectly seasoned and super tender. I shared with Frank that it was my first time ordering and was looking for g
Great Restaurant. Our first experience with Yemeni cuisine and it did not disappoint. We ordered Lamb Haneeth, Chicken Mandi and Fahsah. Everything was excellent but Fahsah was something extraordinary especially with the bread. If you are not sure ask the owner there he will gladly help you. Excelle
As non-carnivores, we were restricted to the appetizers, but that was not an issue. We got one of each and they were all excellent. Very generous with the bread and friendly staff, although a bit challenged with English. Definitely going back.
Tried this place out after the gym and was super impressed. They have this bread that comes with most entrees that is kind of like naan but even better. It’s both crispy and flaky and also doughy and substantial. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu out
The fahsah was INSANELY good. With a piece of chewy bread and the sauce…I was cherishing every single bite. I can’t recommend this dish highly enough! They are so kind and welcoming, we didn’t feel rushed at all. And the prices are shockingly low.
Came here after I ate at the restaurants around the corner and I must say this place is definitely my favorite out of the ones in the area that I have tried. The rice was my favorite, which was what I expect to in the traditional Middle Eastern meal. Other restaudrants served basic yellow rice which
Service excellent, environment and cleanliness was outstanding. I loved the guy who worked there he was super nice and he eventually figured out we love bread so much he automatically brought it without asking! This is the service we need!
Just go, seriously you can not go wrong. How about $1 Lamb soup that is absolutely delicious (add some of the hot spice that the owner gives you), and also $1 yemini tea also delicious. We had this along with the lamb and rice. My only suggestion is have some Yemini music playing in the background.
Lovely family-owned small business, great tasting food, exceptionally quick service. I enjoyed experiencing a new cuisine, loved the fahsah and grilled whole chicken, and was super happy to have come here with good friends. I hope you stop in as well, as I highly recommend it ☺
my first time trying Yemeni food, and i was happy i tried it here. ingredients were high-quality and service was great. i eat a lot, and the portion size was huge enough to fill me up
Beautiful atmosphere! The owner is so nice and humble. The food was fresh and delicious. It's one of the best Yemeni restaurants I have experienced, very authentic.
Excellent food, excellent service, and reasonable prices. Loved the lamb haneeth and look forward to visiting again to try other things in their menu. Small dining area that gets packed pretty quickly.
