This place had the best seafood in Philly, they changed owners, and the fish platter sides Mac and cheese, and candied yams were not good but the fish was excellent. Since the pandemic came and gone everything has not been the same. No pictures
The food was good. Customer service was no personable but polite. They were taking orders and getting people moving out the door. Very busy but accurate with my order.
The fish and fried chicken are seasoned so well. I donβt like the Mac and cheese bc you can tell they used velveeta (I am not a fan). The veggies are overly spicy. Seasoning is fine but why make them hot π€·πΎββοΈ
I only had the Hush Puppies, being from Florida and Louisiana and really missed them.
It is AMAZING!
EDIT: Tried the catfish, itβs a really, REALLY huge filet, and very flakey (falls off the fish easily). If you want to eat it then definitely use utensils to make sure to get the most but definitely another hit. Really good! Only qualm with it is itβs a bit crunchy but still good!
EDIT 2: Had the French fries and my goodness, was it decently flavorful, perfect mixture of a nice crunch while also soft. So it wasnβt soggy and I got it delivered itβs just so perfect!
Great food! One thing tho Mac and cheese is not baked

Service is friendly , itβs probably gonna be a wait but itβs worth it! Chicken is very good. Vegetables are tasty too! Nice portions for price paid.
GREAT LATE NIGHT EATS in West Philly. For $13 got a platter with 6 large WHITING, greens and macaroni and cheese. Me and my wife shared the platter and had left overs. WOW!! Earlier in the night spent over $100 to eat and we both were still HUNGRY after doing Karaoke!
