I only liked to go there for the buffet they used to have lol. It's a restaurant but they had a buffet on Fridays as well. Very cute little place and the owner was friendly and you got that homey feel there.
This place is my local pick of the litter!
A sprawling well-decorated establishment “Sullivan's On the Main” is huge inside yet does not have a bad seat in the house. It even has banquet facilities!
A "must try" is their bacon that is sliced in-house and has body and taste that could never be duplicated by the pre-sliced “Restaurant Depot” stuff. Service is friendly...once they get to know you, so newcomers might have to be a bit “charitable” in this respect, but this is common and expected in family-run establishments. Time has proven that to know them is to love them. They treat my family very well and even remember the drink and dining preferences of those whom I only bring on occasion.
Some tips for this unique place are:
1. Ordering - Sullivan’s takes great attention to detail. If you order your burger medium-rare or your eggs over-easy, that is the way the food will come out…bar none! If you don’t specify how you want things, it will be somewhat random and some might think inconsistent. So let your voice be heard when ordering and all will be well.
2. Hours - Everyone knows that between 2pm and 4pm is slow time for restaurants, so Sulivan’s found a solution to this…they close. So late lunch or early dinner is O. U. T. - out. Also, they close 2pm on Tue., 1pm on Sun., and are not open Mon., so make sure make sure the OPEN sign is lit before feeding the meter…which leads me to #3
3. Parking - all on-street metered parking, but if you come on the weekend or are there Between 7am and 9am, your don’t have to feed the meters. (verify that to be sure…). In any event, their great prices will make the 25¢ for the hour of parking magically disappear in the grand scheme of things.
In short, a meal here will challenge your appetite, woo your tastebuds and promote return visits, yet will not offend the budget seeker. I truly love this place and look forward to my next visit.
Omelette with jalapenos, and onions. Home fries with onions and green peppers. It was an amazing, relaxing atmosphere. Paid a little over $7 with coffee!! 🤩🤩 My new go to place close to home, and the locals made it even better 😊. Really made my day ❤ Plus, they open at 7 AM, great for early birds such as myself.
I pass this place everyday on my way to work and when all the diners near me were packed, I decided to try it out. Firstly, the prices are insanely cheap, my boyfriend and I both got large breakfasts (me- a muffin, pancakes, and home fries, him- pancakes and fries). The bill was only $19 for all that! Waitress was friendly and service was quick! The food was delicious and the place was very cute and conveniently located with lots of parking.
The best family owed restaurant in town. We love the food. Everything on the menu is delicious and your plate is full. Our favorite spot in town!!! ❤
Waitress was wonderful. Worked her butt off for us and everyone around us. Food was good for small town local spot. Service was fast and not rushed. Coffee stayed full. Highly recommended.
I met up with some friends and had breakfast at Sullivans. The food was pretty good, but the staff seemed cranky and not as friendly as they us to be. So 1 point off for staff being cranky. Great price and good food.
A fun casual eatery; good food and very generous portions. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meals thoroughly. Definitely on the list for return visits.
