Great place to enjoy great food. Not too pricey. We had dinner there last night and I ordered room service for us this morning. Great service too. My granddaughter and I were staying at the Clarendon in Phoenix for a mini staycation. I highly recommend this restaurant AND the Clarendon Hotel 😊😊

We were fortunate enough to have a beer paired dinner on the rooftop of The Clarendon with a group of our closest friends to celebrate our marriage and I couldn't be happier with the way the event went!! The decor & theme were on point and looked beautiful against the Arizona sunset. Each course had a matching beer chosen to compliment the meal it went with. My personal favorite was the Java Stout Float for dessert! The staff were excellent in timing the courses, as well as describing the dish a few times for the guests that were distracted. Every person that attended the dinner left saying that it was a very unique and delicious food experience they will talk about for the rest of their lives. Definitely the perfect way to start off our celebratory weekend!! A huge thank you to Nicki, Vince, Joe & the rest of the staff at Cafe Tranquilo for making it such an unforgettable experience!

Had the pescado tacos and oh my... fried to perfection. I typically order grilled too. Crema sauce was flavorful and light and the option of a red and green salsa is always a win in my book! Service is quick, friendly and the place is super design-forward. Such a treasure to have a unique and authentic Mexican restaurant IN A HOTEL! (That’s just as great too.)

The atmosphere and the food is amazing. Happy Specials are unbelievably delicious and well priced. Bartender Pedro made me my own refreshing drink to sip by the pool at the Clarendon. Highly recommended you try it for yourself

I’ve been coming to this place since they started their first year The Clarendon Hotel. Every time I visit I get the same friendly service from everyone, but the menu keeps getting better. Thank you, Chris, for suggesting that I try something out of my usual Green Chili Chilaquiles, because the Shrimp Sofrito is now my new favorite.

Great neighborhood restaurant. Love the breakfast/brunch. At night, you can ask for a plastic cup and take your drink to the hotel's fantastic rooftop.

Tranquilo is located at the Clarendon Hotel and I have been back a few times now. Tranquilo has a good Bar and Restaurant with a good mix of drinks and food items on the Happy Hour Menu. You have to try the Elote! Served in a mini cast iron pan and seasoned with the right amount of spices, cheese, and butter, and it comes hot off the grill. Tatse like you are eating it off the cob! Actually just had dinner at the restaurant for the first time with colleagues from work and everyone enjoyed their food. Great Service as well! There was also some live music too! Great ambiance, it's worth the visit. Recommend :)

The mood and service her is amazing. The restaurant is located in a modern hotel, and I love the decor. The food, however, was nothing special. I’d say the guacamole, tacos and soups were rather lackluster. The guacamole needed more spice and the dry tacos desired more sauces. Otherwise, the dining experience and service was fantastic.

We ate during a happy hour pricing where all tacos were $2 - I think - anyhow, these are small sized street tacos. I had shrimp tacos and pork tacos. Without the salsa which was provided for our chips, the tacos would have been a bit dry. The food was good and we ate on the patio. It was a pleasant experience.

Food was amazing and the service was top shelf. First time they are serving brunch and I'd recommend anyone to check them out. I enjoyed a glass of Mimosa *Jamaica'* & green chile chicken enchiladas with scrambled eggs on top. 👌🏾🍳🍷

This pork belly burrito was my jam. $6 for chips and salsa was kind of egregious, especially when u was sitting alone at the bar. That’s borderline lose a star material but everything was great.

Can't beat the prices!!! The chilaquilaes are good, the huevos Ranchero are great. If you are staying at the hotel ask for the breakfast Vouchers ($10 credit per person)!!!

I came here for lunch during work and was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is lovely, first of all. We had great service. They had a deal for all tacos $2 each, and I was satisfied with my veggie tacos, which had fried cactus pad in them. I also had a cold brew which was refreshing on a week day. I'd definitely recommend this spot.
