What a great surprise!

We were absolutely thrilled with our lunch here. The service was excellent, as was the food, and the prices were unexpectedly reasonable. Inside and outside dining options are nice. Our experience could not have been better.

Great lunch and friendly staff..... This cafe is not what you'd expect at a museum!

The last time we ate here it was run by Arcadia Farms, and we didn't care for the menu. But now that the Heard is running the restaurant the menu is much friendlier. I had the day's special, a salad with strawberries, feta, and walnuts with prickly pear dressing. It was very good. My friend had the Turkey BLT wrap which she said was good as well. The service was quick and good (not great) and the staff was nice. Since the restaurant is in the courtyard you can eat there without having to pay admission to the musem. I would definetely eat here again and would highly recommend to friends.

Quaint restaurant in gorgeous location. The ambiance is very calm and relaxing. Their Prickly pear drink hits all the spots. I love the themed cups. The posole was very delicious. As well as the service. We were treated very well and were timely. I would absolutely visit this cafe again.

Good food in a nice setting. We ate inside, but the outdoor area also looked nice. The Tepary Bean Hummus & Frybread was a lot like pita with hummus. We also enjoyed a bowl of posole.

Hidden gem! Never expected to find a gourmet-quality restaurant inside the Heard Museum compound. The setting is intimate. The windows look out into the courtyard where local artists work away on wood carvings, paintings, and much more. All available for purchase. The menu is as far from "typical" as you can get. The service is excellent. Prices are reasonable. Portions are large. I had the Zonie Cheese Steak (shaved turkey, grilled bell pepper and onion) and my wife had the three sisters soup (yellow squash, black beans, roasted corn, veggie broth) and a cheese queso. Good selection of house wines and brews.

A delicious surprise! Visiting the Museum for the first time, we stumbled onto the Cafe. The menu has delicious options, and each entree we tried was a huge success. Best Birria beef tacos, ever! We'll be bringing future visitors for sure.

Superb fajita chicken salad with delicious variety of fruits and vegetables, including avocado. However, the hostess led us to believe that the wait would be short; had we been provided with a more accurate estimate, we would have gone into the Heard Museum during our wait.

Great prices, great food and service. The atmosphere is BEAUTIFUL, we sat outside in the courtyard but it was hot and no misters so we sweated as we ate. I'll be back!

We were so pleasantly surprised by the food at the Heard Museum cafe! Normally museum cafes are expensive and meh, not so here. The stand out dish was the Thai beef noodle salad! We also had the chicken salad on croissant and that also had great flavor. The cafe also serves beer, wine and cocktails. The cafe does have some local foods to try - we’ll do that next time! Just kidding, you know I’ll order the Thai beef salad again. 😉 We did have a local white blend wine (I think from Provisioner?) that was refreshing and perfect for a patio lunch. Eat early so you can sit outside!

I had this delicious salad here before and I always talked about it. I never remembered the name but today I had the chance to have The Dreamcatcher 😋

I love taking my family here. The heard museum always has something going on (event wise or exhibit) and the employees are very helpful and kind. The knowledge and art this place has is just beautiful ❤️ I definitely mrecommend getting a membership, I have one for my little family. There are many levels of memberships you can choose from that'll best suit your budget and wants. ✓College students ✓Tribal members ✓Elderly If you provide ID with these three above you will get a discount on your yearly membership. For example with our membership we get an additional 10% off at the cafe and the gift shop. I love going to the cafe to have a little brunch the prices are reasonable for the fantastic food that is served, personally I think the cafe is suitable for my husband and I. Our little one not so much, but as he gets older I think it'll be a great choice. Make a trip and enjoy everything the museum had to offer! Learn about the beautiful Native American people 🌞

Great place for lunch. Inside and outside seating. Sat outside twice for two different lunches on a work trip. Great ambiance and architecture outside! Also, I really liked the chicken salad sandwich with the jazzed up corn side. The prickly pear lemonade topped of a great meal with great service!

I liked this cafe, and would return. I ordered the frybread which was served with teparary bean hummus and although I liked it, I don't think that I would order it again. The ceviche was simple but well done with shrimp, avocado and tomato. My friend had the salad and it seemed like a version of chopped salad and looked great. Nice setting, good service and food at reasonable prices.

Oh my goodness, the best food! Be sure to have the curry lentil soup, to die for! The food is made from scratch. The outdoors area is a nice place to dine but if the weather is to cool or to hot, the little cafe is beautifully appointed. I love it here.

Great little cafe on premise that allows for a quick, medium-priced bite to eat. Perfect place to meet up before or after visiting the museum. Salads, sandwiches, coffee, dessert, non-alcoholic drinks are available in this clean, cozy, politely-staffed eatery in courtyard of museum.
