I normally go into a restaurant I've never tried before, with no expectations.
Don't get me wrong I'm ALWAYS hoping for an amazing experience.
But... open minded on anything good or not so good could happen.
Loved the lunch menu (uh, duh sorry... was there for lunch)
I ordered a roasted veggie quinoa salad. Yikes... sorry don't remember the exact name on menue,, but it was under salad menu and included half portion of sweet "melted" sweat potatoe, quinoa and a variety of roasted veggies. SERIOUSLY!!! The BEST TASTING Vegan dish I've ever eatin!!!! Plus, the serving size was ENORMOUS. Enough left over's for lunch and dinner for the next day.
Our server's name was Alex... Again, he was just as fantastic as the food. Give Alex 5 Stars as well.
Even the prices on menu are so on point!
If you're ever looking for a lunch place in the Biltmore area.... ( They, of course have a dinner menu as well, which I'm confident is as amazing!)
So...in my opinion, yes eat st The Henry, confident you will not be dissapointed! ENJOY!

This place was fabulous. It was Mother’s Day and we arrived early for our reservation. The staff immediately attended to our needs as we waited to be seated. They asked us if they could get us a drink while we waited, and we were seated at our time of the reservation. The food was delicious, and we will definitely return. The staff is very attentive and checked on our needs during our visit. They are very friendly and everyone was very helpful.
Second time at The Henry and both times were great ! Food was delicious, guacamole with pistachios, salmon with the best beets I’ve ever had, the service was also great !

Loved this place!!! Great service and great drinks and food!
It was the greatest meal I had had in such a long time. The wait staff were friendly and so willing to help.
Delicious! Not your run of the mill menu, The Henry offers a creative food experience
We absolutely loved this place. We didn't know though it was order and seat yourself until 11, but we sat at the bar and the waiter was quite nice and let us order from there. They only serve French toast on weekends, but they have a kids French toast so I ordered that. I also ordered a I believe it's called wildflower coffee and I was quite impressed! I'm a big fan of this place and will come back again when I'm in Phoenix
There is no handicap parking in front of restaurant, but there is valet parking if you like using that. We had to park down the side a ways and walk (and push me in my wheelchair) to restaurant entrance. Wheelchair friendly inside if it’s not crowded (it was crowded and a bit noisy when we first got there about 1:15). We were seated when our reservation time was up. Nice table. Our waiter (Ethan) was great. We ordered the short rib potstickers and crispy coconut shrimp as starters. YUM! My husband ordered the blackened fish tacos and our friend ordered the Bolognese. I ordered the Turkey French Dip and it was fabulous. The bread was my favorite part of the sandwich. I saved the sauce from the potstickers and dipped my sandwich in that to try it (Ethan thought it was a brilliant idea), plus the au jus that comes with the sandwich. Everything was excellent. We ordered the bread pudding for dessert and Connor brought out vanilla ice cream to go with it, along with the caramel ice cream that comes on top of the bread pudding. It was so good!
I had my daughter’s bridal shower in the North room this past Saturday. It was FANTASTIC! I have been working with Dana, Special Events Coordinator, since February. She is absolutely wonderful. Since we live in California, I had to plan the shower long distance and was a little worried about how it was going to turn out. It was beyond my expectations. Dana made sure my vision came to life. We heard from so many of our guests how beautiful and perfect the shower was. Sam, our server was so attentive. She made sure the room was exactly how we wanted it. She was so flexible and went above and beyond to make sure everyone was taken care of. We can’t say enough good things about the Henry!
Such a pleasant midday surprise for lunch. The space is so bright and airy with an outdoor patio and open hearth kitchen. The spritz I had had was super refreshing and the Turkey Dip Wax to die for! I upgraded my meal by pairing it with truffle fries. If I lived in the area, I would definitely visit the café because the pastries look divine. Perfect place to meet up with almost anyone for any thing; meetings, birthday, casual meet up, date, etc.

Was meeting friends for brunch. Found a great corner table. Ordered food at the coffee shop. Was delivered to our table. I had coffee and the California bowl. Delicious, delicious. Oh! The coffee cake was excellent too. The vibe is so cool. The atmosphere is a comfortable buzz. Loved the free valet parking! Highly recommend!
Friendly staff, nice venue and great food. We ordered a breakfast sandwich and the rancheros bowl (with steak). It wasnt a cheap breakfast but it was very good. The coffee bar seemed to be perpetually lined out the door while we were there.
Great atmosphere and food here! The building is super cool with soaring ceilings and a rustic warehousey vibe. Our server was super attentive and an expert on the menu. We had guac to start and a variety of mains and everyone loved their food. Cocktails and wine selection good too. Definitely on the pricier side for a random Tuesday night dinner but would return.
Our waiter was so nice and the food was unreal. Would recommend the truffle fries, braised short rib, bolognese and short rib pot stickers.

Nestled in the heart of central Phoenix, The Henry stands as a testament to the city's rich culinary tapestry. With its roots deeply embedded in Phoenix's history, this establishment is more than just a restaurant; it's a story of passion and dedication.
The Henry's inception can be traced back to its founder, whose vision was to create a space that resonated with the essence of the neighborhood. A place where every individual, be it a local or a visitor, felt a sense of belonging. And true to its vision, the first location was strategically chosen to be in the midst of Phoenix's bustling streets, ensuring that it was accessible and welcoming to all.
Stepping into The Henry is like stepping into a harmonious blend of the past and the present. The fusion of industrial and classical influences is evident in its decor, creating an ambiance that is both chic and timeless. The open dining space, with its high ceilings and expansive windows, is a hive of activity, buzzing with the laughter and chatter of patrons. Every corner of the restaurant, from the cozy coffee bar to the vibrant dining area, exudes charm and energy.
But what truly sets The Henry apart is its people. The baristas, servers, and bartenders, with their genuine smiles and warm welcomes, make you feel like you're not just a customer, but a part of their extended family. Whether you're there for a business meeting or on a first date, the atmosphere is always just right.
The outdoor seating area, with its fantastic patio, offers a refreshing change of scenery. Overlooking the coffee bar, it's the perfect spot to enjoy Phoenix's balmy evenings, sipping on one of their signature cocktails.
Speaking of which, The Henry's menu is a delightful surprise. With a range of craveable eats and downright delicious cocktails, every dish and drink tells a story of its own. Each ingredient is chosen with care, and every recipe is a reflection of the love and passion that goes into making The Henry what it is.
The Henry is not just a restaurant; it's an experience. It's a place where every visit feels like a reunion with old friends. A place that, no matter how many times you visit, always feels like home. So, the next time you're in Phoenix and looking for a place to unwind, be sure to check out The Henry.
We had the most delicious meal here, however our server stood out even more than the food! I believe her name was Caroline, and she was fantastic. We ordered all of her recommendations and they did not disappoint. The short rib potstickers, umami brussel sprouts, and Korean prime skirt steak were our favorites. The spicy mango habanero margarita was lovely and had the perfect amount of spice. I would highly recommend and will be back the next time we are in town.
The building is superb, modern and cozy. Great for any celebratory occasion or just to go eat the great food. Plenty of space to park.
Food was great, I got the fish and it was delicious. The bread pudding was excellent.
Service was nice a little slow but not a big deal because it gave us time to enjoy the place. I love the waitress outfits they all wear super cute ties.
I will come back here sometime for sure.
This place was amazing! The decor is very inviting. We loved how much space they give between tables. The music was the perfect volume. It really made it a great place to have a conversation with friends. The wait staff was attentive without being obtrusive. The food was phenomenal. We were there for restaurant week. Everything was good, especially the Korean Steak which was one of the best stakes we have tasted, made perfectly to order. The food was unique without being weird The portions we good sized without being overly large. Can't say enough good things.
The whole dining experience was superb and it's easy to see why "The Henry" receives such high ratings. This was a very special occasion, and I contacted the restaurant prior to our reservation. We were welcomed, seated immediately. We were well and professionally taken care of throughout the entire meal. Our party of 15 had ordered wide verities of items. We had several items from the menu, but our favorites were umami brussels sprouts, parmesan truffle fries, Korean prime skirt steak, seared ahi tuna, grilled Berkshire pork, lobster & black truffle tagliatelle and for dessert, you must get triple chocolate torte, and warm croissant bread pudding. The food was very fresh, and the flavors were incredible. Our server, Alana, made excellent recommendations for cocktails/food and ensured we were well taken care of throughout the evening by checking with us at appropriate intervals. Also, the chef Erich prepared us an additional dessert as it was a special occasion. Everything about our evening was perfect. The service, food, and ambiance were extraordinary, and would like to thank the staff (DJ, Carly, and Dana) for going out of their way to make the evening very special. We will definitely return and highly recommend The Henry. Check out the pictures associated with this review. Google level-8 reviewer.

I went into The Henry yesterday morning for lunch with a work colleague. We both have very different dietary restrictions/food allergies so I was nervous about going out to eat. But our server Rachel was exceptional!! She recommended several different vegan food items for me and peanut free options for my colleague plus I was happy to hear about the different milk options. She even refilled my coffee without me having to ask. I went with her recommendation of harvest bowl and wow I was not disappointed! I totally recommend having lunch here!
We came here for my nieces 12th bday we stayed In the private room in the back. The food was good and the service was great. I really enjoyed the ambience of the place.
We visit The Henry on special occasions because it's not close to us. Let me tell you it is always worth the drive. They made our 16th Wedding Anniversary dinner so special. Our table faced the kitchen which is always my favorite spot, we had a couple flowers set on our table and a sweet personalized card. The food was amazing, I love the Braised short ribs, the Umami Brussel sprots and the bread pudding so delicious. Our server was so lovely. I can't wait to return on our next date night.
Thank you to the amazing lead hostess Tess who took exceptional care of my family. We travelled from Tucson to celebrate my sister’s birthday and it did not disappoint. The food was exceptional, the service was on point and the ambience was perfection. Everyone was super friendly and the menu had plenty of gluten free options that was delicious. We just had a terrific experience. Thank you!
