Incredible, the atmosphere, the food, oh my goodness try the garlic. The service was top notch, everyone we encountered was knowledgeable and friendly and seemed genuinely interested in the menu items and making sure we had a great experience. Our server was Linda and she was wonderful, very patient with our indecision and had very helpful suggestions on what to pick for our entrees. I got the chicken and waffles, which were incredible, the meat was juicy and flavorful and the skin was crispy and perfect. The cheddar waffle was really different and good. My husband had the special, which was scallops with snap peas, an apple walnut and celery salad, and a sweet potato puree and apple something on top? The presentation was gorgeous and the flavor was really unique and complex. Our appetizers were also great, the cheese curds were light and crispy, the beer batter was different but definitely in a good way. We also had the roasted garlic which is absolutely incredible... I'm going to have dreams about that stuff. All in all a wonderful experience, you can really tell they have a great cohesive staff and a passion for what they do. I recommend this place highly.
Sea Bass was INCREDIBLY PERFECT! Very glad I tried the special, and looking forward to trying the menu soon. Comfortable, clean, really neat local art... Superior service and hospitality. Excited to return!
Truly one of the best meals my husband and I have had in Phoenix. Also, the service was excellent.
Delicious lil spot with great vegetarian choices and handcrafted champagne cocktails very yummy highly recommend
One of my favorites in Phoenix. Great location, atmosphere, staff , cocktails and of course the food!! 🥰
This is a lovely little place to dine or have drinks. The location is tucked away from the main drag so it is nice and quiet in the area. The building itself is decorated and you get a romantic feel about the place. There is an artist featured here who’s work I love (Gavin Hugh Troy) His work adds some great color and texture to the place.
The menu is small but the quality of the food is wonderful. In fact, I stumbled upon this place because I was craving cheese curds and was not going to rest until I found some. Turns out this beautiful little gem makes cheese curds. I highly recommend. Also, the gnocchi dish is great. I don’t have any input on the meat dishes but they all look great when they come out.
The drinks are really where it’s at. There are some talented bar tenders here. Our favorite drinks to date featured fresh bell pepper juice and glitter.
All in all, super excellent spot. Get over here and get some cheese curds, maybe snag one of Gavin’s one-of-a-kind pieces.
My daughter and I went to afternoon tea here on a Saturday. We weren't sure what to expect- we've been going to tea for years, usually at big hotels and resorts. This place was informal compared to our usual haunts, but that only made it seem that much more homey and welcoming. We were expecting a good experience based on the reviews we'd read, but we weren't expecting to be impressed to the extent that we were. The tea was outstanding- we had the Chinese Rose and the Buckingham, and couldn't decide which we liked better. The ambience was relaxed, the music was enjoyable. And the food was a show stopper- four different varieties of delicious finger sandwiches(we ordered two more rounds), two dense and tasty scones each of two different varieties, and the variety of desserts was mind-boggling. Each item was as esthetically pleasing as it was great tasting. We plan on going back, as we both found a new favourite, and also look forward to trying their regular menu as well. Even the drinking water was good. Five enthusiastic stars!
My boyfriend brought me here for our anniversary. He made a reservation on yelp and I guess they asked what brings him to the restaurant. So he said anniversary. Right when we walked in he said we have a reservation for the 10:15, she asked “oh for the anniversary?” So sweet! The place is so cozy! Local artist work on the walls. The staff was beyond amazing, the hostess, the waitress, the bartender, the chef/owner. Everyone came out to check on each table, they didn’t only have their job to do, they did it all! I loved how the bartender came from behind the bar to ask to clean up our plates, and gives us fist bumps! The chef/owner came to our table, asked how everything was. I am assuming he was the owner because of the passion he showed. The brunch was DELICIOUS! I am already planning my birthday there in January! And because it was our anniversary, we got complimentary dessert! Just amazing, from the sliding bathroom door to the easy parking access, to the food, to the coffee, to the hospitality! Go! You’ll love it!
My wife and I visited Tuck Shop for our anniversary and we were pleasantly surprised. It's a very high end, very small restaurant in an unassuming, renovated house. Our dinner was delicious and our cocktails were perfect. The wait staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Our waitress recommended a few things that we might not have usually considered, but I'm glad she did because our meals were great. It's on the pricey end, but a great date night. Can't recommend enough!
Great night at the Truck Shop! Atmosphere was great and the food was fantastic! Desert...Raspberry croissant bread pudding with bourbon sauce!! It was so good I was wishing I had my own....I almost licked the plate! Service was perfect the moment we walked in. Thanks Katelyn and Dustin you did an amazing job! We will be going back!
