What a great Italian grocer and deli! It was packed with stuff in narrow aisles with a bustling deli/food area.
We got a few desserts from the front near the cashier, an Italian stallion sub sandwich from the deli, lasagna, meatballs, and some Italian gelato (packaged).
Service was friendly and the place was kept nice and clean.
I absolutely love these type of places, absolutely a must visit if you want an Italian grocer/deli experience with awesome food!
Recently put in a group order for pickup with my coworkers for lunch after hearing good things about this place from someone else and we all loved the food! The sauce on their chicken parm & meatball subs was chef’s kiss- probably why they sell it by the jar, too. Desserts were also very tasty, and generous on portion size. Also, it was quick and easy to put in an order over the phone with friendly service. Would definitely order again!
My wife and I saw this place mentioned on Instagram, we came in and tried the Chicken Parm sub and Robert's Special. They were excellent, Cole slaw was good, bow tie pasta was also good. Will definitely be back and will recommend to others.

This isn't a place that you're going to expect. You walk in, and it looks like an old neighborhood Deli. There's a lot of commotion and usually a line, but man, it's so worth it. I ordered a meatball sub from the Italian guy standing behind the counter, and it was probably the best sub I've ever eaten. The old style seating area added to the mystique of the place, but it's definitely not winning any interior design awards. Bottom line, it's worth it.
Best Chicago Italian Beef sandwich outside of Chicago! Loved going here for lunch all the time, since my office was located down the street. More than just an Deli and Italian market…
the Bakery is just as phenomenal! One bite of tiramisu 😋 and I’m in heaven! It’s also the only place that I found authentic Spumoni gelato (it’s one of my family’s Christmas traditions).

One of the best Napoleon pastries I've ever had. Friendly staff, Delicious New York Italian style deli. Great sandwiches and lasagna. I'll be back for sure!
The hot pastrami on marbled rye, mustard & pickles only. Was superb. Took my adult son & he asked if we could go back again. He had italian sausage with marinara sauce & peppers. Recommend it highly.
You won't be disappointed, this place is AMAZING! Taking a picture of the sub wasn't an option. It just had to be eaten!
