A True Hidden Gem!
Unless you knew about this place, you would not have found it here, as it is tucked back into a commercial area. However, take the time to find it, you won't be disappointed!
This is a classic, homey diner that serves up local favorites. We had the breakfast and it was fantastic, and the service was friendly and fast. The cost was amazing, considering the quality and quantity! Definitely a keeper!!!
This is a great place for a good quick lunch the service is always fast and responsive the crispy chicken salad is awesome and it's absolutely huge if you can eat it all good luck but the quality is definitely there on this menu item
Best damn chicken in the state. I've eaten here numerous times for lunch, and have never been disappointed. The fried chicken lunch platter might be (as Aretha Franklin said in the Blues Brothers) the best damn chicken in the state. The BBQ brisket lunch platter is very good, the pretzel bun burgers are highly rated, and the tuna melt is also. They are pretty busy from noon to 1, so be ready to wait if you show up during that time period. I don't understand the negative review earlier--they serve a lot of people, and I don't see anyone complaining at all.
Pepper Sauce is closing their doors today :( Too bad... It was a great place to get a burger!
Burger connoisseur here. This one was delicious and juicy. Patty doesn't taste like ground meat, but more like a steak burger. Very good, and the tater tots were a trip down memory lane. Service was great and there's plenty of parking around. However, be warned it can get loud in here.
Delicious breakfast! Simple done well. Hash browns were crispy and flavorful. Sourdough toasts were crispy and buttery. The Phoenix omelette was flavorful with just the right amount of spice. Nice farmhouse atmosphere and friendly service.
The Peppersauce Cafe has one of the best chicken salads I have had recently. The honey mustard dressing is absolutely delicious. It is worth every penny.
Stopped here on our way from Tucson to lake powell. Stopped around 9 and wasnt too crowded. We got a table. We got an omelette with hashbrowns and pancakes with scrambled eggs on the side. The omelette was delicious. The pancake were huge and I couldn't finish it. We got coffee and orange juice as our drinks. The service was good and quick. The waitress was friendly. The restrooms were clean. Definitely a good place for breakfast.
This review is about my breakfast. BIscuits and gravy with Sunnyside up eggs and hash browns. Awesome stuff. Everything was great! You need to make sure you order your breakfast before 10:30 because that's when they switch to lunch. That is the only reason why I why I gave them a 4 for service. Their service is great!
The food was absolutely amazing. I personally got the Texan with a half beef half chorizo patty with avocado and house sauce on a pretzel bun and it might have been one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was delightful and warm and the service and quickness was also excellent.
Large portions, decent food, great service... a little pricy for the area. No ambiance whatsoever. But our server was efficient and pleasant.
Would recommend if looking for a quick lunch
Clean, friendly atmosphere. Food is fantastic! The Phoenix Omelette has just the right amount of spice and the eggs with corned beef hash was some of the best my partner has had. True home cooking! We are from out of town, but will be back whenever we are in the Phoenix area.
Good, local joint for breakfast. The food is always fresh, fast, and tastes good. The food selection is not particularly unique, but it is good diner type breakfast selections. Good, quick service, always.
Absolutely love this place the service and food is always on point, might be a little confusing to find if it's your first time but we'll worth the visit. Pricing imo is fantastic as well. Try it out *also not open on WEEKENDS
