After a long flight and accidentally turning into the parking lot exit, I enjoyed my mocha & a delicious lemon lavender cake before driving back home to Tucson. The staff was incredibly professional, helpful & courteous. I highly recommend the UB Cafe & will most certainly return. Thank you =)

Heard about this place on the radio. I have driven by it many times to go eat at vegan restaurants, but just thought it was a coffee place. We stopped in for dessert and it was fantastic. I got a whole Oreo chocolate cake! And they are open 24 hours!!! Can't wait to come back for real food!
Went there for the first time this week and had the pumpkin curry. Loved it! Will be back for more and to try their lasagna. The staff were wonderfully friendly. As a vegan I'm always looking for new places to go. Great job guys!!���

It's nice to have a place to eat, that's 24 hrs, and the food is way healthier. I really liked the otter made of whipped cream that was at the top of my hot chocolate! I will definitely come here again.
You're always there for me when I need an any-time-of-day chai or java chip scone. And when I had no vegan pumpkin pie with the family Thanksgiving spread, you had pumpkin chai muffins for me instead. Love Urban Beans!
This place may have the best breakfast burrito I've ever had (don't tell my mom). Large filling portions match a spacious environment! Definitely will be back.

A Gem
We came here because we were looking for a vegan food place before catching our 7:30am flight, and happened to be arrive into town at 3am. We found this quaint cafe which offered delicious vegan food. My husband got the carnitas which was jackfruit and chipotle sauce while I ordered the Italian sausage. Both were flavorful and delectably satisfying. We would absolutely recommend anyone eating here.
I like that they have vegetarian and vegan options- my pumpkin curry was quite delicious. Another plus for also being open 24/7. The interior is not the most aesthetically pleasing, but I do like the patio area. Good spot to do homework, and there's free parking!
Tonight I stopped in at a little coffee shop called Urban Beans. I’m just loving exploring downtown Phoenix and all these little restaurants and coffee shops that are tucked away in these old strip malls and warehouses. Urban Beans cooks up fresh breakfast and lunch everyday. They have a bar called Bar Urban that serves up locally and internationally crafted beers as well as wine. I got a Hot Mocha and a bag of beans tonight.

Great coffee and great shop interior
The coffe is nice and smooth. The website is out of date per the nice lady in the chefs coat who appears to be the owner. So, no creme bruelle in the parking lot at all. The menu says says the strawberry melon soup is $4 for a bowl and $6 for a cup? The girl at the counter never got back to me on that. I will be back for additonal fact finding mission!
Great atmosphere!!!. This is a great little coffeeshop. Way better than any chain. It has a great, unique atmosphere. And they have unique gift items as well as fantastic baked goods.
Great Place for BYOB. What a delightful place, AND they have a BYOB service. we sat on the patio and had one of their small plates to share, a pear and arugula melt, and a bottle of wine in the cooling off evenings, they have great coffee and pastries too, love this place.
Great food, I go for the Ruben but it was sold out the lasagna was amazing and the sweet potato sushi was a great too. It's a small place but worth a visit if you like healthy food.
Ahhh so many yummy options and toddler approved! We got a breakfast burrito, scone, cookie, had to try the pancakes and waffles 🤤 so so yum and tamales but I haven't tried those yet, they smell amazing! I'm thankful for the friendly staff finding what will work w my Groupon! I will definitely be making the drive and recommending to all my friends!
THIS PLACE IS SO GOOD. I got the Reuben and my boyfriend got the carne asada burrito, we also got the lemon bar and Java chip scone, I suggest coming even if you’re not vegan. Very hospitable staff and great food, definitely coming back!

Always wonderful, always VEGAN food great for take-out or for eating on their PATIO (sometimes while a jazz or rock band is playing on a weekend). I love the SUSHI rolls made to order, and the TAMALES, and the BREAKFAST BURRITO... plus now I get cravings for their new (always vegan) CARNE ASADA BURRITO --- or as a BOWL... Truly love their food, and the owners and folks working there are dedicated and decent. Oh yeah, get a coffee or SMOOTHIE or even a BEER there as well. Kind of an amazing place.
Had brunch with my girlfriend she had protein pancakes, which she said were delicious. I had the Reuben sandwich. It was amazing! I would definitely go back just for the vegan pastrami! Bonus tip: if you give them some notice, you can buy the pastrami by the pound to take home like you do at the deli! We didn't try them, but the baked goods looked amazing also. We will definitely be back. Tip #2: they have a couple of Groupon's available, which makes trying them out easy on the wallet too!
The food overall is pretty bland. It seems to lack flavor on the whole. The drinks are decent, but they have seemed to cut their menu in half unfortunately.
The best thing I've gotten from there is probably the burrito, or the tamales.
The customer service is amazing and there is a super awesome atmosphere. Plus the desserts are actually to die for. They have open mic on the weekends too.
This is great locally owned, small coffee shop where you can pick up good quality coffee and treats. They have sandwiches for lunch and both indoor and a small outdoor sitting area. They are well worth a visit for some independent coffee.
