I was curious about this place and finally got to drop by yesterday! I wanted to get the oxtail but didn't know it was Weekends only, so my partner and I got dinner combos with a peach cobbler. It took a while for our food to arrive but it was fine sitting inside of the restaurant waiting. I had the
What a great find! Authentic feeling and authentic tasting southern restaurant. The owners even opened up early for us the day we walked in. The restaurant itself is very tiny with only 5 booths. It’s a little dated but gives it that dive feeling. The fried chicken was my absolute favorite. My aunt
I needed a feel good Friday. Gizzards were me and my grandpa's thing. He passed away, and yesterday was his bday. I didn't get paid until today. Not only are the gizzards home style they taste just like my pops. I didn't realize they sold Kool-Aid. I went to purchase it. And my pops was looking put
Came here a few days ago with my kid 30 minutes before closing and i was attended with great customer service. Our food was served in a timely manner and had awesome flavor. I ordered the catfish combo with yams and greens. The man attending us was super friendly and made our experience great. He ad
I ordered the 3 pc red snapper meal with okra & greens. I love how the greens were drained & didn’t make my fish & okra soggy on the way home. The corn muffin was soft & not too sweet. The okra seemed hand breaded & fried perfectly. The greens were not too done like most soul food restaurants around
OMG. Ima Philly girl and I have been craving that hole in the wall soul food place in Phoenix and I stumbled across this gem. The wait was like a half hour but I didn’t mind because how good the food smelled. I got a catfish dinner with fried okra and Mac n cheese and a whiting meal with collard gre
A hole in the wall, that's what you want! Food was great! I got the bbq pork ribs with some veggies, my friend got the fried fish, it beats the boring fast food. I would definitely come back.
This little place is a bit hidden. I drive by there all the time and happen to find it by looking on here for barbecue. I'll start with my favorite. As you can see in the pictures I ordered many things and I didn't have any company so I brought many leftovers home. The BBQ beef ribs were tender an
Everything was great. Great food, great Koolaid, great service. I even love the photos on the wall. Some of the best BBQ sauce I've had. The Brisket was amazing, the chicken was seasoned perfectly. The greens and cabbage were both amazing.
First time here. Compliments to the chef! Catfish/mac n cheese on POINT. Fried chicken, sausage / fried okra. PERFECT. Took time to cook which is OK. It was all fresh! Server at front was very friendly. We will definitely be back. So glad we found you!
AMAZING fried chicken. Loved the yams and green beans as well. I'll definitely be back to try more items as it was my first time!! Definitely the best fried chicken I have had since I moved to Arizona. Corn bread was also amazing. Thank you Stacy and crew!!! Will be back!
Off Da Hook is just amazing! The prices are very reasonable, the takeout offers in particular. But the food is pure awesomeness. The fried chicken is lightly battered and simply perfect. We also had and loved the smothered pork chops, rib tips, and catfish. The latter two while very good couldn't ke
My recent visit to Stacy's Off Da Hook BBQ and Soul Food was fantastic. The soulful, homestyle dishes were incredibly flavorful, especially the BBQ. The portions were generous, and the staff provided warm and welcoming service. This restaurant is a must-visit for those seeking delicious soul food in
We arrived around 7pm on a Sunday night for dinner. They weren’t super busy. The waitress was super sweet. We all had empty plates by the time we finished. My parents are from the south and love this soul food. My catfish was fresh, moist, hot...personally recommend everything you see in the photos.
