So grateful to have found this little restaurant behind Discount Tire at the corner of 7th ST and Carefree Highway. Try their Carne Asada tacos. They are absolutely fabulous and always consistent!! The employees are super nice too.
I used to love this place when I lived in the area! I stop in every time I visit az. It may not be as fast as Taco bell but the quality is always second to none in my opinion. I'd gladly wait a few minutes for them to make my food as opposed to eating something that could have been made 3 hours ago.. just my opinion. Can't wait for my next visit, I used to eat here multiple times a week and I miss it dearly!
I work in the area and Armandos is one of my favorite choices for breakfast and lunch options during the day. I typically get a bean, cheese and rice burrito, but their beef tacos, and asada burritos are also great for the price. Definitely a guilty pleasure worth trying.
I stopped in when I was waiting for a tire change at discount. This place is great! Good prices and pretty great food. Less greasy than a lot of the other fast Mexican spots like berto's.
Excellent burritos. Chips are ok. Everything is made to order and quickly.
Nearly a weekly stop for us, great family who is always there to serve hot fresh made to order food. If you're review is takes too long, think about it for just a second. Cooked to order food is never instant. We gladly enjoy the time taken to prepare our food!
Love this place. Come 1-2 times a week for fam dinner. Thank u for awesome services guys!

These negative reviews are silly. This place has been consistently amazing (especially the kind souls behind the counter) since before, during, and after COVID. I have personally owned and run a restaurant myself. It was one of the hardest things I have ever done (too many variables; always chasing margins). I actually love ❤️ this little place (and the team). It's right off of Carefree Hwy behind Discount Tire.
Thank you for the excellent service and food.
My favorites:
- Super Nachos (beans on the side) with Pollo Asado (not the shredded chicken but grilled and chopped up).
- Chille Reano Burrito (just the way it comes)
- Green Chile Burrito (just the way it comes)
- Cheese Omelet with Avacado slices on top with warm corn tortillas (patties of butter; combo comes with rice and beans). For extra fun, a side order of Pico Digao and Guacamole
- Horchata (no ice). Nurse it with a small cup of ice at home or ask for a water cup when ordering
- A 12 Pack of Rolled Tacos with Cheese and Guacamole will feed everyone (it's a bargain)
In my opinion, the red hot sauce is better than the green as the green feels a little watered down for me.
I'm excited to feast here in 2023!

Just came here while waiting for my car to be worked on. I’ll say for a little fast food spot it did what it needed. The guy up front was kind and took care of us quickly. I saw a lot of one stars on more recent posts but definitely give this place a chance.
I have been here a few dozen times in last few years. I have NEVER had any issues with staff or food. Never had bad food here. Rice is better than most others. I have had like a 10 minute wait in drive thru line once or twice but they were busy. Not sure why all the bad reviews. Maybe personally clash.
I ordered a breakfast burrito on a motorcycle and they helped me out with the packing. Food tasted great
Drive thru only, food was good quality with ample serving size. We ordered several items and shared, it’s a little out of our way to go there so wanted to try several items to determine if we would go back. We will be returning again. My favorite was the shrimp tacos. All the meals we ordered came with rice and refried beans, which were very good.
