First experience was good, but I think I was expecting it to be really really good, and perfect food. It was good and just ok food. Slaw was pretty spicy, macaroni was ok, shredded pork was ok, katsu chicken was so so, rice was dry, teriyaki chicken was good. I would go back, but there is nothing I would crave to seek out this restaurant.

Very good Hawaiian food. I had the teriyaki chicken and the pork with rice and macaroni. It was all good. The regular plate option is a good value for what you get. The employees were great and welcoming. I will definitely be returning.

The smell of authenticity hits you in the parking lot! The smoky flavors and tender pieces of quality meat paired beautifully with the macaroni salad! Excuse the pictures I was so excited and started eating before taking the beautiful picture. Yeah it’s that good! Fair prices and the Dole whip is legit like what we had in Oahu. Tartness of pineapple will get you half way through the giant serving get napkins and a cup!🤙

Food was very delicious and flavorful! The ordering process is simple and moved pretty quick. Portion sizes are generous and I was still full after splitting a bowl and the kids portion has a good amount of food too. The kids really enjoyed it, which was a little surprising, because they can be picky sometimes lol. Happy eating everyone!

Glad to have found this quick service restaurant. It gets busy around dinner time but the food servers are very organized and the line moves quickly. I ordered a "Salad" which has salad as the main course, with a protein and a side. My salad had delicious creamy sesame dressing, the protein was kalua pork, and the side was macadamia salad. All just as expected. Most impressive is that they weigh every protein on a scale to make sure that the serving sizes are consistent. The employees are very friendly. I definitely will return to try more of the menu!

great food for lunch, cheap and good food amount. Staff is friendly and know what he is selling, could give good advice to the guest. Chicken is good taste and sweet corn is delicious. Love they have two choices of rice. They also have dole wipe, but I didn’t try.

My only complaint about this place is that they don't have more locations! I live northwest near Glendale and I have no problem making the trip. I will pass up every L&L and Ono Hawaiian BBQ to come here. The serving sizes are great and the food is delicious (especially the spicy poke). This is easily one of my favorite places in the valley.

I love this place if I need a quick Hawaiian lunch plate. It rivals Aloha Grill and they have several options. I uses to go here all of the time when the Truhit Gym was in business. They also give a military discount. Definitely give this place a shot. It’s quality is a step above Ono’s BBQ and is comparable to Aloha Grill.

Came here at around 7:30 pm for dinner and they were already starting to run out of food. We decided on the teriyaki chicken & katsu chicken. Juicy & delicious! The katsu sauce had a nice kick to it. The corn was buttery. Surprisingly the macaroni salad had a bite of potato, not sure if that was intentional. Make sure you get the dole whip to try, so refreshing right now!! Next time we’ll come earlier to try out the other chicken options!

Tried the new Hawaiian place on the block. I ordered the salad with 1 meat & 1 side. Thought it wouldn't be too heavy. I got the Katsu chicken, which is always my baseline with macaroni salad. The Katsu was overcooked & pretty hard. The macaroni salad was good. Salad didn't come with dressing, pretty sure they forgot because my friend mentioned his dressing when we were leaving. The Katsu & Teriyaki sauces are self serve & located next to the soda machine. It definitely was messy with sauces all over the counter. Also it caused back ups, especially with the utensils also where the sauces were. They probably should be separated some how to help with the flow. Biggest disappointment was no POG. I'll give it another try in a couple of months once the newness kinks are worked out. Update: adding a star for second chance and for having dole whip. Now if the POG was available it would be our go to place for Hawaiian.
