Update- 06/09 i still love this place... My go to when I visit Phoenix AZ... I love this place... the eggrolls and spring rolls are absolutely delicious... When I lived in Phoenix in the midtown area I would go there once or twice a week... I would just usually order the dragon beef bowl... my favourite... Hopefully one day I'll go back to Phoenix but until then, my first pit stop will be yoshi's... ✌❤

Good place for some Beef or Chicken teriyaki, stopped by for lunch yesterday and ordered a half and half bowl, which has beef and chicken, rice on the bottom. Chicken was a little dry but still delicious, The beef was good as well, but I would say it had a little more fat/gristle in it than I can excuse but it was delicious. The place was quiet, weird for that time of day, but I think there was one other couple in there with me, pretty clean as well. Service was fine, although I didn’t interact with them too much, they were helpful and nice. Will stop by again. 7.7 out of ten? I’d say that’s about right.

I've worked in close proximity to Yoshi's for a year and never stopped in.....Huge loss for me. I should have came sooner. The menu choices are great, the serving size is excellent, and the prices are perfect. Fast service, friendly staff and great food. The building could use some work but I didn't go there for the building. I went to eat and they delivered a great meal.

Lemon chicken no rice lunch bowl comes with their special creamy ginger sauce and.. make sure you ask for two of their house soy sauce packets. Whenever I want to feel full and fat free this is the best place - Squeeze lemon slices, then mix in the ginger sauce and soy sauce and I promise you will be satisfied with your self and your food there is layer of chicken breast over cabbage and broccoli lightly cooked full of flavor vegetables. I added black pepper. This is Always good. Zero weight gained . I haven't tried anything else here but hear the lunch teriyaki bowl is good comfort food. I will be trying other items at this drive thru soon right now I'm stuck on this light delight lemon chicken

Heard of and grabbed their Happy Hour (3pm-5pm) Teriyaki Chicken Rice Bowl for...what!? $4 bucks! Finally ✔️ the place out. Decided to try some other items too. For $4 ($6 non HH you can't beat the portion of chicken bowl. Also, enjoyed the Yaki Udon bowl with chicken, which again portion/price is a killer value; Vegetable Spring Rolls (fried) and California Roll were what you'd expect. Restaurant was unexpectedly large and was kept very clean and organized. Cashier and staff were welcoming and friendly.

I’m always very happy with the quality and price of this Japanese restaurant. The food is authentic Japanese unlike a lot of restaurants that claim to be Japan. I’ve been to Japan many times and the food that is served at this restaurant is the one of the has some of the most authentic Japanese food in the U.S. The staff are always friendly and my order was always ready quickly.

The storefront is definitely run down so I was scared. Not many cars in the parking lot either but I did notice a ton of takeout and delivery orders being made. Ordered through the drive thru and had the orange chicken rice bowl (very good) and the rice bowl with beef (forgot the name). The beef bowl tasted so fresh and homemade it was delicious. Ordered a side of fried noodles and with siracha, they were bomb. Thanks for the experience. Will be coming back again.

Everything is good food and great love the customer service i went the last 2wks in different occasions and it turned that the AC is out it amazes me how the owner hasn’t done anything about it and has his employees working in this environment like I said food is great customer service is also great just want to voice out my opinion on how the owner hasn’t fixed the AC and especially in the heat reaching 116 degrees

Just happened across this place while running errands, after seeing the prices decided I had to try it and was not disappointed. Unfortunately they were closed the first day I tried going which was a Sunday but I took that as a good sign considering my favorite chicken place is also closed Sundays. First as I mentioned are the prices, very affordable in general not just for the type of food. Most options are $7-8, larger dishes and combos are still only $9-10. Service was quick although there weren't many customers just a few cars in the drive-thru and one person eating in who had already received his food. The kid working the registered did't seem too happy said nothing as I walked up to the counter not a hello or even how can I help you but since he did his job quickly without mistakes I won't hold it against him and my food was ready in just a few minutes. I ordered the Hong Kong noodles which is orange chicken and broccoli in pan fried noodles with black sesame seeds, I believe it also mentioned something about being friend in a sweet and sour sauce but I can't find the site that mentioned that and I didnb't seem to notice it unless they meant the orange sauce which was very good. NO it doesn't taste like Panda but but if you want Panda's flavor go there. This was probably the best real orange chicken I've had most everywhere else I've ordered orange chicken it just tastes like biting into an orange where as here it was actually part of the flavor and not overpowering, VERY good. The broccoli did taste a bit weird to me, not bad/spoiled just weird I assume it was just seasoned with something. Overall VERY good especially for the price, I will be returning and recommending it to others. I'm going to try going back for their happy hour which is a $4.99 chicken teryaki bowl from 3-5pm.

I ordered through the drive through. I think the person couldn't hear me very well (speaker problem maybe) and thought I said number 1 combo when I said number 3 combo. For $11 you can get any of their combos at large size. I ordered the number 3 which contains medium drink, regular teriyaki bowl and 4 California sushi rolls. The sushi rolls are not the best in the world, but they are edible (I mean safe to eat and still tasty). The teriyaki bowl was very good and a lot of food. I haven't been here in years. The last time I was here the rice tasted like it was cooked in dirty water. I am glad to see their quality is back to its original standard here. Ps. They have happy hour from 3pm to 5pm. The teriyaki bowls are discounted to $3.50 each, max of 2. I will probably come back one more time during this month before I go back to regular routine. Update: Pandemic: Drive through and takeout open. Happy hour all day. Closed Sundays. I have been coming here often since pandemic started. However, I got take out yesterday, the last thing I ate last night was the happy hour teriyaki bowl and around 2am I ended up with food poisoning symptoms. I can't be sure if it was from here, but I only have 2 possible sources the yoshi's order or my step mom's cooking. The teriyaki bowl (the meat) tasted burnt and off. Good news is I am recovering from the food poisoning. I probably won't come back here for a couple weeks despite affordability of the happy hours.
