Ordered the Beef Fried Rice from Hsin Cafe, and it was really good! If you're looking for awesome Americanized Chinese food, this place does it very well! The restaurant has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating area. Reasonable prices for PHX downtown. Accessible by light rail or DASH.

This restaurant is the best kept secret in the heart of the ASU Downtown Phoenix campus! Ben who usually works the counter is super friendly, and really cares about the business of helping people. The other two employees are just as friendly. The atrium cafe setting is very relaxing.
The restaurant is always clean, and offers the perfect variety of Chinese food for the money. I've had the delicious egg rolls..crispy! I've also had the pork, chicken and veggie chow main to go, and the portions were more than enough for this tasty little meal. The dumplings are good and the fried rice is excellent!
You can see the chef cooking up everything fresh right through the counter window. The location of this delightful cafe is convenient for eat in or something on the go. Try something small like I did at first, the edamame--- always done perfectly! Then work your way up to an egg roll--crispy goodness! At downtown Phoenix restaurant prices this place is hands down the best place for the money!

I really like this place. I give it 5 stars for the service and food. The food is really good, especially the orange chicken and beef and broccoli. I love the milk iced tea as well.
It's a very clean place with good food. Tried other places around the area and they were okay, but I like Hsin the best and always come here whenever I am in town.
The food is good (I got the pepper steak plate), the atmosphere friendly and nice. A good relaxing place to chow down and get things done. Also, if you're in the mood for something fast, delicious, and healthy order their crispy dumplings.
In Phoenix for work, and this was the closest Chinese carry-out to my hotel. Best quick-serve Chinese I've had in a LONG time. Spicy chicken was excellent. Tender white meat chicken, tender-crisp vegetables, light & fresh sauce. Highly recommended.
This place is great. Food is always fresh and everyone is very nice. Ben is a great cashier, so nice and friendly and usually there! Delicious yet typical Chinese food takeout restaurant. I would highly recommend this place if you are in the area!
Might seem like it's a bit overpriced at first- but you definitely get a hefty serving (I ordered take out). It's good and fast- especially for a college student who only used M&G...this is one of those better options. (the cream cheese wontons are great!)
Place was very clean and food was prepared per order and not a premade item. Food was very hot and tasted fresh. I ordered the chicken teriyaki which was ok, but Im rating this a 4 as it was convenient, clean, quick, and food tasted good. I would give this place a second chace.
Love this place. Good food and atmosphere. Noodles are excellent and there is a cabbage soup that is great.
