To start, this is certainly an authentic Mexican establishment. It is authentic in terms of atmosphere, service and most importantly: food. I had the mushroom sopes, and wow... it was one of the most amazing things I have ever had. The combination of the sweet mushrooms, soft onions, spicy pepper and crisp masa is comforting to a heavenly extent. The service was almost as good as the food (which is saying a lot) and the price was very, very reasonable. This place may be unassuming, but if you want tremendous authentic food to indulge in, this is the perfect place!
I returned and ordered a burrito and quesadilla. Those weren’t as good, but still solid. Their chips are quite good!
great customer service. my menudo was delicious. other plates are carne asada fries & birria taquitos 🌮
Food is amazing but service is not like it used to sometimes they give you chips with beans and some other times they don't
I love this place. This probably my goto.. i had their biria and it qas phenomenal. The serving size is decent and the flavor is so good.. totally worth it!!

My husband got quesabirria tacos I got 2 pastors tacos and tripe tacos. The lady outside offered us a corn tortilla with salsa. The salsa was very hot and delicious as well the corn tortillas. The cashier gave us sample of the bean and cheese nachos. It was the best I ever had. My husband really likes the refried beans so do I. We try the same of the menudo. We definitely recommend this restaurant. We are definitely coming back.
Legitimately the best restaurant around Peoria. Doesn’t matter what I get I end up liking it. My partner and I have been eating here for a few days now. They make the best burrito and probably the best thing I’ve had.
Whole in the wall establishment....they have a good selection of food. Our food was very flavorful, tender and freshly made. Well priced, we paid 35 for 2 plates of 3 mini tacos and a bowl of menudo. Salsas are not spicy but very delicious. We will definitely be going back. :)

I've been here plenty of time, more frequently lately than before. I had one bad experience years ago with an employee named Dora besides that one time, I can say all the employees are nice. I usually see the same girl working the register and she is a gem. The food is delicious here and they can basically make whatever you like. Agua frescas are so good here as well. Probably the best around the area. This place is one of my favorites now!
