Most Unfortunately, this entire mall is closed, forever NO more😪😢
Extremely, unfortunate that this magnificent mall has almost no customers.
And it's unbelievable, that most all malls across America are closing, due to the online age.
Malls have always been an extraordinary American legacy, although most likely the Italians developed them first in ancient times with places "like" the famous Galleries.
However, Americans have innovated these places, into almost becoming an historical cultural phenomenon.
Specifically, in my generation, we all grew up with them as the ultimate meeting/socializing/shopping experience.
I would highly recommend, at the very least a visit.
Most especially, the food court, where the Chinese Shop "Jade", serves up an incredible feast at a very reasonable price.
Enjoy. 🤙😎
June 30, 2020. Sorry to say this was the last night for Metrocenter Mall. It is now closed for good. I got to make the last purchase at the Custom License Plate Store, as the rest of the mall was already closed down. The mall is for sale and we're hoping it can be brought back to life.
Great place to shop! Featuring empty lots, more empty lots, and more empty lots. All sarcasm aside, there is still a hot topic in here along with a Spencer's that was survived. Others include industrial ridership, vans, and Aeropostale. Looking forward to Walmart lighting this place up again.
It's sad to see this mall empty, there's hardly any shops open all thanks to Waltmart. We usually go to hot topic and Charleys Philly steaks.
I love the Metrocenter the Harkins has a great theater and the prices are the best in the state. The mall is safe with kind and thoughtful security. The physical plant of the mall is in excellent shape. I wish more businesses got space in this mall. There is even a law firm operating out of the mall. This is the place to be.
Sadly, Metro center is closing July 1 2020. Today, hundreds of people came out to cruise the circle one last time. It was great to feel the sense of freedom and adventure we had as teenagers while cruising. Goodbye metro center.😢
First time in metro center in years. They are closing the place tomorrow after 47 years. Lots of memories
So sad, what was once one of the biggest malls in America is now mostly vacant. It is still nice and clean, just not so many small businesses.
This photo best represents MetroCenter now. It's a classic mall that hasn't seen light of day since the mid 90s. It is truly a ghost town, even during the holiday season.
Great place to with lots of home town business and reviving the mall with local merchants!!! They have from shoes, movies , furniture stores, mattress shops and jewelry!!!! And don’t forget the food court!
Fun fact, this was one of many locations of the filming of Bill and Teds Excellent Adventure! The movie was filmed in Tempe, Scottsdale, and Phoenix. Attached are is a screen shot.
Thank you Maria for helping us get the phones we want and then some. Finally happy we have tge service we need and the phones we want, I recommend this place and ask for Maria or Amy. Thank you again ladies, y'all the best.
Love the discount shopping, Dillard's has a great big and tall section
Metro Center is a historical place for me I remember when they used to be an ice skating rink but now it's closed don't know what they're putting in there I think Apartments Metro Center was a good place
If you come in the far side of this mall, away from the Wal-Mart you may be disappointed. There are hardly any stores in one wing of the mall. The closer you get to Walmart the more populated the mall becomes.
