This restaurant was amazing. We were seated immediately when we got there and the waiter didn’t take too long to get to us. The food did take a decent amount of time to get to us because they ran out of food, so they had to go into the next days food supplies. The food still tasted amazing and the staff were nice about it and actually told us. The restrooms were a bit dirty, however the place had a nice atmosphere. I had the traditional schnitzel with the sides of a Cesar salad and the mashed potatoes. The salad came early and they forgot the croutons however the sauce was really nice. The schnitzel came later with the potatoes and it was amazing. The piece was nice and big. The schnitzel was nice and delicious plus the mashed potatoes were nice and delicious(only like warm but still good). I dined with other people and they said the German potato salad was extremely good! Overall Great experience!

Meal portions are very large. The pretzel was great, but I didn't care for the schnitzel sandwich. Everyone else enjoyed their meal. I wish the portions were more manageable for those just traveling through. I thoroughly enjoyed the dunkle beer.

The potato pancakes were yummy! The kids liked the huge pretzel. The music they were playing didn’t fit the atmosphere but I thought it was funny. I had a chicken Caesar salad & chicken came out separately, but it was pretty good. Kids had burgers & they weren’t blown away but not disappointed. My son had one of the specialty burgers & liked it. Fries were just ok.

I took my daughter to Pigeon Forge for her birthday. At the end of the day she recommended Wild Bear Tavern for dinner. Boy am I glad she did. Some of the best tasting German food I have ever tasted. They have a good selection of food and drinks. The portions of the food are big too. They aren't like other places that serve your food on a small plate to make it look like your getting a big portion. They have very big plates and the food covers the whole plate. Very nice outside atmosphere. Then since it was her birthday they gave her 2 apple strudels with ice cream and whipped cream. I recommend if your in the area stop in for some authentic German food.

The food here is incredible. Combine that with the service and the atmosphere? You can't beat it. Bill made sure we were super well taken care of and even steered me in the direction of a meal I loved. Get the goulash if they still have it!

We were lucky to try this authentic German restaurant. The potato pancakes were amazing. The schnitzel was tender and delicious. All meals were in large portions. We would definitely come back next time. Bill was our waiter and did a great job.

My wife and I had lunch here today. The food was very good. We had the sausage sampler, the pork shank, and pork schnitzel. It was more food than we could finish and I'm a big guy.

This place was right across the street from where we were staying and having lived in Austria a couple of year's I thought it would be fun. We went in for breakfast and requested to sit outside and the bartender/waitress happily obliged. She had a big table of 10 people inside to help but still took care of us with no wait time. She was efficient, got our orders out quick and recommended some good food and drinks. We had the Mimosa flight and some breakfast. My kids loved the place and the decor. Service and food were both great. We will definitely be back.

Great traditional schnitzel with Jager sauce.! Loved the Radler and Dunkel (both drafts). Great service! The waitress name was Kristie (I believe). Appreciate the staff moving a regular table so my wife (wheelchair bound) could eat outside!!

My family and I came here for our first dinner on our first visit to Pigeon Forge. The food reminded me of my time in Germany. It was great! We had the following: appetizer- potato cakes and cheese, main course- pot roast, traditional schnitzel, parmigiana schnitzel, and chicken fingers, desert- apple strudel and Black Forest cake. The service was slow but they did seem stretched thin. Our server was great and he helped us every chance he had! We would come back again for sure!
